Random spam in chat

Why o why am i getting random sale spam from users of the board in the chat window.

This should not be allowed at all. Imagen all online people would be spamming eachother to sell there shizzels.

There really isn't any rule for messaging someone to ask if they would like to buy an account. I myself get annoyed by seeing messages pop up asking if I want to buy X account. But, not much I can do except say I am not interested. Also, if it really gets excessive with a user, just report the user for it.

Actually, if a member is spamming (mass inviting people to a group conversation only to ask if they're interested in purchasing his account, service etc or is asking almost everyone in Chat Now if they want to purchase his account, service etc), they usually get punished for Spamming if many people report the chat window as spam.

I agree with TS and indeed annoying and as Lako wrote if they go to far just report it.

The fact is how can i know they whend to far? I just seen one spam in my chat everytime. Do they do it to multiple people? Make a rule that the messaging system can't be used to promote sales or whatnot?

You can't know if they went too far or not, but you can be sure that if he sent a message to you to advertise he probably did it to many other people as well. If someone advertise like that to me, I just report it as spam.

I suppose that if he gets more than one spam reports, he gets punished.

If you get a random message on a game you dont deal in or dont have a wtb thread in report. Odds are theyare spamming everyone
