Question about DMMs

heyo sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, i just haven't found any info on this yet

i noticed that some folks use DMMs in trades around here, so i figured I'd look into them. When I go to DMM.com though, I get a pop-up warning telling me that accessing the site could be illegal in some countries bc it's managed under Japanese law. I was wondering if this is something i should be worried about, or if I'm just looking too hard into a "there could be 18+ content on here" kind of warning. just want to double check to be safe!! ty ty!

I would imagine it's just an extra disclaimer to protect the company in case of any kind of claim in the event something happened due too use of the service. There’s a lot of reasons for this, but I’d say it has to do with the 18+ content, streaming services, and resale aspects of the brand.

So use your best judgement.
