Pro Sellers = Carte Blanche to Lie and Say anything they wish to get business here
So,
Yesterday I was looking to buy a little gold, getting back in to WoW to try out the new expansion and level of one of my toons.
So I go to look for good prices on Gold. I thought I had spotted it, here's a seller in the forum offering a Lowest Price Guaranteed, nice, can't go wrong here! http://www.epicnpc.com/threads/4105...nt-delivery-Epicnpc-verified-100-legit-seller (it's since been edited (7o clock today) to remove the lowest price guarantee)
So I spend some time digging, go to his site (which his post directs you to) and scour the site to find out how his low price guarantee works. I found the prices on his website are not even in the remote vicinity of being lowest price, so I figure it's fine, he's going to give me a big discount to keep to his advertisement.
I then que up for his live chat to get this figured out. When I finally start talking to him so I can place my 50k order he tells me that his lowest price is 90 cents per k unless I am doing a massive order then he can do as low as .85 if I'm spending a few hundred dollars. (WTF? That's not a low price guarantee, in fact he's more expensive that about 90% of online storefronts). Hell even wow2005.com sells for .69 - other large sellers on this forum doing my server for .60.
He tells me that's the lowest, they don't change prices... So what about that low price guarantee? Doesn't exist... He just wrote it in to the post to falsely attract more people to his website only to disappoint them when they get there.
I promptly leave him a negative feedback since he deceived me and I cancelled the transaction as a result. Legitimate reason to leave a bad feedback right? The guy lied to fool people in to wasting their time with him... he's dishonest...
Guess what? I get a message today that the feedback is removed because this guy is a pro seller and comparing him to other sellers is 'apples and oranges' according to Super Moderator Doomedtofail because Pro Sellers pass the gold around 4+ times, and false advertising is a common practice with them to drum up business.
What do you guys think about this?
