Please remove negative

Hello, I wanted to buy from ristio that have a selling thread here.
I contacted him via Skype, then I asked him to confirm in thread that's him.
Since i saw he have 3 positive feedback, I decided can be trusted and asked for his paypal address so I can send him the money.
After he told me to send $64 via paypal to his account, i sent him the money as services ( he never said anything about fees or gift ).
After he received, asked me to claim them back and send him as gift because he's afraid i may claim money later because some friends advice him to always take money as gift.
I tried to explain to him that even that way he still can be scammed ( what if hacker gets owner paypal and do transaction - paypal will always give money back to owner ), i told him to let me send him other $3 for the fees if that's the problem.
After i told him that i can't claim the money sent, but there is an option in his pp account to refund back, i told him that will take about 48h before i can use the money since i paid with my debit card attached to my pp account and I prefer to send him other $3 for the fee, he still didn't care and refunded partially $61 ( $3 were lost into pp fees ).

Because I can't use these money for next up to 48h, i left a negative itrader for him: Itrader then i replied to his thread with my reason:

Then he replied back that he had to give me negative too because he think i tried to cheat him...

So, even that i sent him money first before he was sending me anything, even with my membership beeing older than his.. even that I m NPCVERIFIED, he think that i tried to cheat on him???

So please remove the negative feedback that I received from him, and I let you judge me if I did a bad feedback for him or not, thank you. ( I told him to post "paypal as gift " in his thread to never happen this again with others).

To be honest you both abused the feedback system, you should of not done it for the reasons he did refund you (apart from the small fee) so in return he left you negative feedback, so what comes around goes around.

I understand there was miscommunication regarding sending the money. It can happen, but if he wished to have it gifted he can and he should of indeed informed you that he wanted it that way before you made the payment.

I can imagine when one of my Superiors see this, they may remove both feedbacks as it was not needed. No one lost anything and no scam was being placed. apart from a few $. Im sure they will review and Judge soon.

Thanks and sorry about that.. i m just nervous that my money are blocked till i get them back to the card, also he made me feel bad since i am older and have the verified tag and he acuse me of trying to cheat

It is proper etiquette for fee to be covered by the buyer UNLESS they voice otherwise. If people do not ask, and I send payment of 200.00, they cover the fees. Now, if they ask first, I may choose to cover them.

Also, to point out; Gifting is not in the "spirit" of how paypal supports it. If you do enough they WILL call you as they did me. They actually said you are better protected sending as goods/services.

Gifting was just a rumor of being better. Virtual goods are not supported by paypal, period. They can all be charged back.

Just an FYI for future purchases and sales. Hope this helps you.

I knew this man... that's why i tried to tell him that he's not better protected against chargeback even with gift option. I even offered him a separate $3 to cover the "fees" but he insisted to send him the full payment as gift...

The feedback from your account has been removed, however the negative feedback you left on his account will remain until he gives you a 100% refund. There's no reason for him to keep $3 for himself. When a refund is issued the Paypal fees are also reversed.

I will leave this open for 24 hrs for him to show that he has given you back the $3. After that I will close this and he can create his own Feedback Dispute thread and he'll have to show proof the $3 was refunded.
