(this will be long because i want it to explain everything that happened in full detail.)
i got a message this afternoon at 12pm from the discord account "Norenko" asking if i wanted to buy the account listed on the "Sidhi" account. i had messaged them prior asking if i could purchase it off of them because i was interested and i sent them my discord tag. having no idea that this account would get banned hours later, i agreed to buy the account when i get paid 2 days later. i did offer to pay them for the time they were going to wait, but they said that the original listing price would be fine because they had work and didn't mind waiting.
hours pass and im scrolling through the website looking at more accounts. i then get a message asking if i was "still interested" in the account. this account used the name "Siddhi". to be honest i thought the accounts were the same, so i ghosted the message a little bit confused because i literally had only spoken to them a few hours before. it wasn't until i do a double take on the messages that i realised that the "Sidhi" account had been banned for scamming. i felt my heart rate increase at this point because i realised that i dodged a bullet. so i blocked the discord account that had spoken to me about selling it because i figured there was no point having them in my contacts if they were planning on scamming me. during this time i had completely forgotten about the "Siddhi" account and had moved on with my day, brushing it off with "it happens." i then get a message on discord at 5:31pm from the "Ramsya" discord account and they ask me if im still interested in buying the account. i don't know who they are, so i ask what their account is and they tell me that its "Siddhi". they then tell me that i had been speaking to their brother. i get confused and send them a screenshot of the "Norenko" account as it's the only person i had spoken to about buying accounts on that day. they say it's not them and i get even more confused because, after checking the "Siddhi" account, i realised that this account had the exact same postings as the one on the "Sidhi" account. I also realised in this moment that i hadn't given this account my discord account, so they would have had no way of friending my account unless they had gotten it from a dm. as i have stated nowhere online what my discord account is. I get super sketched out and immediately get put off buying the account when they ask "so do you want it or not?" i tell them im not sure and they start questioning my intelligence and reading capabilities. they tell me that the "Sidhi" account was someone pretending to be them and that i had to be dumb to not realize something like this. when i make it clear im not sure about buying the account after everything they had said by that point, they quickly rush me into buying the account. saying "sorry. i just can't tell if you're genuinely confused or not." after apologizing, they immediately make another comment about my intelligence and i tell them im not giving them my money.
they go onto my account and bring my sexuality into it. they then tell me that "it's not "your money" youre purchasing something, you waste of space." by this point im over the conversation and i tell them good luck with selling the account. they make a rude and extremely out of place comment about my genitals and then i proceeded to leave a review on their account. letting people know that the seller was difficult to work with (plain rude) and was most definitely a scammer given the account names and situation they had put me in to get money out of me quickly. how they had claimed id spoken to their brother and not told me who that was.
they reply to my comment claiming that i should "help" them find the scammers who had supposedly pretended to be them, and i realised immediately that this person would do anything just to make out like they were some kind of victim. like i was painting them out to be a horrible person and that i was lying to tarnish their sales. which, yes, i was hoping to ruin their sales, simply only to save people from throwing money into a void pocket and getting nothing in return. as someone who's currently looking to purchase an account, id hate to be put in a position where ive lost money to a scam.
