This may have been discussed some time ago, but for those that do not know, here is the paypal scam. DON'T become a victim.
DO NOT put your ID and PW inside the invoice of paypal, and invoice requested by the buyer and generated from the seller. It's a Feiwong scam method, a known scammer notorious for stealing FFXI accounts. Maybe this might reach sticky status, but it works for ANY games where a paypal transaction is used.
How this works is the scammer tells you to send an invoice for the transaction. He will tell you to include the account ID and PW, but he claims he can't see this info until he pays the invoice. He CAN see this info without paying. Right then and there he will log into your account and change info on you, and leave the invoice hanging indefinately.
In games such as FFXI, once someone logs in, EVEN while your logged in, it will boot you off. Once the scammer has your ID and PW, your SOL, it's a complete race to get to the change PW screen at that point. By the time you log back in, you will have lost your account.
This method might seem cheesy and obvious, but for those that have NEVER used the paypal invoice method, there's potential to fall for it.
Don't become a victim, if ANYONE requests this method for transaction, it's setting you up for 100% scam - uncontested.
