Paypal Permanently Disabled

Two weeks ago Paypal limited our account, then last week it was restored to normal. Today Paypal has completely terminated our account due to a violation of their 'Acceptable Use' policy. Paypal has been removed as a payment option from all items and services.

Members can still use Paypal to pay each other. Only Epicnpc can't accept Paypal payments anymore. For our Trade Guardian middleman service, the payment is directly from the buyer to seller, so Paypal can also be used for that.

The following payment options remain.
  • Bitcoin
  • Doku
  • Dragonpay
  • Globe Gcash
  • UPI
  • India Netbanking
  • Webmoney
  • Neosurf

We are working to add more payment options asap.
  • Kakaopay
  • Yandex Money
  • QIWI
  • Skrill
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay

I apologize for the inconvenience. If you had a recurring Paypal subscription, that will be cancelled today and once your item expires, you will have to renew using one of the above payment methods.

Damn that's some bad news.

Paypal is slowly deciding to stop game account trades and anything related on their platform. It started happening to some major sellers in the last two years. One by one they got limited. Didn't expect the site to get hit since it doesn't deal with those things directly, at least not so soon.

I guess the industry would slowly have to move to alternatives. :(
 
how i can use webmoney to buy sticky topics? there is no webmoney option
 
I would suggesting adding Stripe for debit cards.
 
Personally, i hate Paypal or any similar e-Wallets like Paypal and i didn't get surprised it happened even to EpicNPC. I'm really tired of living with the anxiety of if one day my account is gonna be suspended by those type of e-Wallets.
All do the same thing...Paypal, Skrill etc etc...
So, i can tell without any doubt that crypto is the most free way to trade.
I think more people will be aware of this thing in the future.
 
Hello, is there a problem with the transactions?i dont see any MM transactions
 
For those who do not have any of the methods listed above and need a MM, you can contact me directly and i will cover the fee with my balance after you can pay me with Paypal.

Also, i will invite other MM to do the same and to give a bit of time to Admin to work on alternative payment methods.
 
It was just matter of time when paypal will stop dealing with anyone whos doing high risk activity by their standards. All you can do is to refund payments to people you can trust and let them send u on differnet method, otherwise paypal just can take them away of you for no reason. luckily i got all money back by refunding to people ,and sum was quite high. i know few sellers who lost from 5k euros to 50-60k euros, they balance was charged with reason that is used to compensate damages done to paypal, if u read their agreement they can charge u 3k USD for each potential damage they may suffer cause of your activities..
 
paypal is getting worse day after day !!
but I didn't imagine they will target such high level platforms like EpicNpc !!
I feel like they are trying hard to destroy their business

the crypto is here to save us from such incredible companies

Disaster, this is becoming even worse. I have Paypal for more than 8 years and honestly never had issues but after this, i have lost my trust in them and i am going to find alternative payment methods.
 
Working on Amazon Pay first since their approval process was the fastest. Google Pay you can't get access directly, you have to go through a 3rd party payment processor. We're in the process with a few different once, so once we get approved, we'll start on that.

I haven't really been looking at Apply Pay much. I'll have to double check to see if any of the currently processors have that as an option.

Currently Amazon is being coded as we speak. Then credit cards (visa, master card, ect) is next and they also have Google Pay, so that could be added at the same time.

Just checked with autorize.net support, which is what we're going to be using for credit card payments and they support both Apply Pay and Google Pay and we're approved for both.

Our application is still pending, hopefully it'll be approved in the next 24 hrs, then we'll start coding and all 3 should be available sometime next week.
 
PayPal is vile. Their limitations are purely arbitrary and predatory. Zero customer support. They’ve done this to thousands of businesses in the past year alone and stolen millions, if not billions, in the process.

This should serve as a warning to the nearly one million users of this forum. Regardless of your revenue, age of your account, or legitimacy of your operations, if you are using PayPal for sales or purchases, you will be banned when they feel like banning you, whether they have approved of your business for years or not. Hit them where it hurts and stop using PayPal.
 
sad fact is near 95% of all clients/buyers using paypal only
 
nop, offering alot payment methods always

from total statisctic of 200+ orders every month = 95% know only paypal
 
Just now I wanted to renew my Verified status and pay with paypal for it. Guess this ain't happening anymore.
Those of us who are stuck/prefer paypal as payment option are screwed big time.

The next week there is going to be more payment methods added so please be patient
 
That's very bad news.. it sucks because paypal is so widespread that literally 95% or MORE of my customers prefer using paypal than any other payment method, its kind of discouraging knowing that they may shut you down one day for no reason at all..

How is it possible that huge companies like g 2 g / playerauctions / g 2 a .. etc so on so forth are allowed to use paypal but you arent, you're in the same line of work, have u tried to lawyer up and build a case? Heard that BlazingBoost won the lawsuit and they reinstated his Paypal account.

Anyways, what about SKRILL, NETELLER? (They are way softer than PayPal, esp if u have a company under registered licence)?

I don't understand how some sites can use PP and other's can't. Seems pretty arbitrary with who gets blocked. I'm appealing the Paypal closure and hoping for the best.

Credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay should all be added next week if things go smoothly. Skrill is a pain in the ass to get approved with. Been working with them for over a month and still not approved so my hopes are low.
 
There is no lawsuit, they are private company and they can do whatever they want, its clearly stated in ToS and AUP, they even can charge people 3000$ per transaction for potential damages compensation. Some sites are allowed to use Paypal not because they have lawyers or some connections inside paypal HQ, once paypal agents take closer look in what those sites do, they will close them. If u take closer look into 95% boosting sites you will see that everyone is having credit cards added as payment method.

Smart people will learn lessons from this what happened to epicnpc site, dumb people will keep forcing paypal as main payment method, until some of random paypal agents decide to close account for 6 months and keep all their money for themself.

I say good riddance. Paypal and Discord do more harm than good to this industry. I always wondered if it is incompetence or if they lowkey help scammers. You should add more crypto options (Litecoin, Ethereum, Monero, Doge, Cardano etc.)

What I do not get is they are getting more and more competition out there in forms of payment services and they are kicking large sources of income off their platform.

Thats strange,they approved within 2 weeks, all I had to give them are some legal papers on Serbian language and that's it,no one asked me for anything else.
 
This is scary as all hell. I just got fully approved on the platform and was shitting my pants, when they limited my account to comply with Canadian tax law. I'll definitely be swapping to more secure payment methods soon enough. From what I hear Stripe is a wonderful platform for services like us.

Good luck Mike, Sorry ya got hit with this bullshit. Am sure yall will pull through with flying colors. If anything this may be a blessing in disguise as you wont ever have to worry about PP ever again.

Edit: Also to add Interact E transfer for Canadians is always awesome, so if you find a way to set that up do it! (this is advice for everyone not including our lord and savior Mike)

This is really quite sad that Paypal is the payment gateway used by many people and it has been closed from EpicNpc, and the problem of paying with Bitcoin is a bit difficult on Bitpay platform. They do not allow Asians to connect, so I cannot pay with Bitcoin for EpicNpc, I hope Admin will solve this. @EpicNPC
