Official Suggestion thread - help make EpicNPC a better marketplace

Not Recently Bumped
Correct me if Im wrong. Anyone welcome to input.

So is it just me that in the activity side bar, I cant find my old posts as it just disappears after 1 week or so. When I wish to bump them I have to go searching for it. Is there a way in the thread that allows us to pin it to the sidebar so that its easier to access. Or am I actually blind?

Thanks guys, if its not implemented, it would be nice to be implemented
 
@iAccomplish The sidebar only displays active threads within the last 10 days. Bumps and replies should keep the thread active, however if you forget to bump it will be removed after 10 days.

If you're saying that it's removed even with bumps, please let me know and we'll investigate. A thread URL would be helpful.

Adding the option to pin individual threads is not something we plan to add, sorry.

Yeah I’ve been actively bumping my threads and I assumed that it would stay in the side bar. But it just disappears after 10 days like you said.

When you start a TG transaction, only online MM are listed in selection menu. We recently added more MM and at this time we do not have plans to add more until volume increases.
 
I see so many Close/disable my account posts ,maybe you should make a subforum into "Help" forum for this..

Also what about an EpicNPC app? :D ..dunno if its only me but epicnpc looks shitty and crashes alot when i login from my phone (Sony XPeria XA)

Even if its there, do you think the users will actually look thoroughly and use the correct section?

And I reckon an App would cost too much money, I would love an app as it makes it more handy

Uhm dunno how much an app would cost tbh ..but yea..it would be so cool and easier to use epicnpc from a mobile..i mean i use epicnpc from my mobile alot..when im not at home,and im getting crashes or it doesnt load properly sometimes..

Well on my phone it works totally fine (iphone X), maybe its time for you to upgrade

Yes you can..just click the link (make sure you are in the correct subforum), and then click the button "Post thread" on the top right corner ;)

I dont think its a good idea. The game mode is not popular enough and there will only be 2-3 sellers that do that service, so it would be unnecessary to create a new subforum just for purely dota chess and only 2-3 sellers posting in it.

You can type keywords using our search bar to find Dota Chess services.

I'm not a fan of allowing members to change colors. I would prefer if everyone's profile page was uniform.

However if you upgrade there a few profile customization options available.

We plan to add more profile customization in the future, but that would be Q3 or Q4.
 
I have a suggestion, but not sure if its a good one.

Can we have an option to "bump all threads"
So what I mean by this is that we dont need to individually bump each one of our threads, but be able to press a button to bump all of them.
 
That would lead to members bumping inactive threads also. Not everyone closes or marks their threads as sold, so someone can click that button and inadvertently bump 20, 50 or 100 old threads depending how active they've been here. It's not a good idea, sorry.

But what do you think of an option to ‘select’ the threads in which you would like to bump and then with a singular ‘bump’ button would bump the selected threads
 
That's a better solution, but I don't think the bump system needs more options.

I would prefer sellers go to each thread and bump them. This way only active threads are being bumped.

With a check mark system, a similar issue will most likely arise. You'll have sellers that add threads to the list, but very rare clean the list to remove old inactive threads. So you'll end up with a bunch of old threads getting bumped again.

Unless the checkmark system auto selects all threads (which it shouldn’t).

I personally reckon a checkmark system would be nice, presuming it does not auto select all threads. Therefore, the old threads would not be bumped as sellers would only choose threads they wish to bump.

Do you kinda get what I mean?

Here what I mean.

Seller makes 2 threads, check marks both. Both items sold, seller goes away for 3 months.
Seller comes back, makes 2 new threads, checks both, but doesn't uncheck the old ones.
Seller then bumps all 4 threads each time he uses the new bump feature.

Many sellers will continue to add more and more threads, but forget to remove the old one's, so many old threads will start to get bumped by accident.

Maybe reset check marks after each time it’s been bumped?

I’m not too sure, I’m just throwing options and suggestions.

Aside from the issue of old threads being bumped accidentally, it would also diminish the usefulness of the bump items we have available in the store. So I don't think this a feature we're going to add, sorry.

Hi

A small suggestion for the website.

Since there is no warning putting on the head of the website to say "Anyone do not want to finish deal through a middleman, they are a probable scammer", I would like to suggest putting some kind of this statement in front of the website to remind the buyers finishing the deal by a secure way. it may help to reduce the number of buyers scammered.

We've had warnings before, multiple warnings posted around the site and people either don't read them or don't follow the advise. After a few months there was basically no change in the report rate so we removed them.
 
i really think we need some sort of subforums listing on the front page
like before we had every game specific forum visible from the front page like PUBG, Battlefield, Call of duty...
now they are nowhere to be found and you need to use the search button which i doubt new users even bother to use it, and the tabs at the bottom make it sound like there is only that
for a while now i have been seeing dedicated game forums getting less and less attention users

sorry if this is hard to understand, excuse my bad explaining
opinions on this? or is it just me?
