MD:Syrll | AIM:Syrll Syrll : Banned an account he traded me and refuses to help!

Beware.

I traded a SWTOR account for his which was a bit (seeming too good to be true)
I had all info for my account and sent it to him.
He had 0 info but the Playerauctions account he bought it on, he decided to give me the PA account as it had a year warranty on his character. I figured it seemed sketchy but after thinking and considering his rep I decided to give it a go.

I gave him all my info and he gave me the PA account and it all worked fine, then 2 weeks later i get an email saying my PA account is banned and created under a new name (obviously Syrll because he was OO of the PA account, and proved that). I IMed him for days with no response, then finally responds denying everything. He then admits it later on and refuses to help me at all in recovery the $70 and year long warranty and basically rendering my account useless. SWTOR accounts can't be safe unless they have an ID.

So now he has my $400 account and will not help me keep the one he traded me safe, and it's unsellable or tradeable now. I am NOT calling him a flat-out scammer but I would definetly avoid dealing with him, even if he is "TWV" and "8 positives". I'm sick of people who think they can **** others over and get away with it. At this point I'd rather recall my account that I traded him and get banned on MMOBay for recalling than let someone who ****ed me over in almost the same way have fun with it and resell it someday.

Please, mods and mmo-bay users. Talk to him or post here to help anyway you can to undo this unfair thing that has happened to me, someone who has done numerous trades and always recieved happy customers, whether it comes to providing people CDkeys or trading/selling accounts.

I in no way ever denied making a new PA account, even told you I did over a week ago. The warranty was not transferred to my new PA account, though I did email them asking if they could since I paid for it but havent gotten a response yet. This kid expects me to be sitting at my pc all day long waiting on him to talk to me.

The SWTOR account I traded you has NOT been recalled or banned or suspended. I made a new PA account to buy another swtor account with on there and they made me send in my ID to verify who I was, which in turn banned/suspended the player auction account I bought the assassin with. We traded SWTOR accounts, and the one I traded you is still 100% in your control or whoever's control you traded it to.

I told you from the start I would provide you with a 100% money back guarantee as long as you didn't post the account for sale or trade. When you did it voided any and all warranty I personally provided you with.

and btw somone with 2 rep, 12 posts, and just joined doesn't seem very trustworthy. knew it was too good to be true when offered an account 2x outgearing mine. Sigh this site is going to **** because of things like this.

If nothing will be done to help me, I will just have the account banned. I lose out but at least it would be fair.

Ok, so let me see if I have this correct.

You each traded a SWTOR account to each other. Pillslave have you full info, Syrll gave you his PA account, which contained a 1 year warranty on the account, valued at $70.
The PA account was then banned when Syrll made a new one.
The warranty on the SWTOR pillslave received is gone.
Pillslave still have the SWTOR

I believe that is correct. So the argument is over the included PA warranty, which is now void.

Before the trade, was the PA warranty part of the deal? Pillslave, did you ever state that must be included if you traded? Please post chat logs.

Pillslave, since you still have the account, would you be willing to take a direct warranty from Syrll? So if anything happens, he has to refund you the value of the account?

And yes everything you said above is correct, except he already traded the swtor account so any personal warranty I would have provided him or could have provided him is no longer an option I would imagine since I told him in our original convo I would back it 100% unless sold/traded or posted for sale or trade. I do not have the chat log's, but he has claimed to so hopefully he will post them.

I never recalled it, I told you I was going to call Bioware and tell them the whole truth so they probably locked the account. I did ask and have screenshots of the warranty but my laptop broke last night and i have no access to my screenshots and can't even play the game. All I am asking for is a refund on the $70 warranty.

Seeing as he got the account he traded me banned and the one I traded him is still with whoever he traded it to, and he still has the account he got in that trade. I should be reimbursed the value of the SW account he traded me, we'll say $120 low end, as I was offered $160 for it last week but didn't take it. The $160 offer was through pm's on this site which Mike can check.

Also I am pretty sure the account he gave me was recalled as the pw/username no longer works. It doesnt say the account was banned or anything of that nature when I try to log in, it just says the information is incorrect.

pillslave, what are you doing? You took a simple problem and complicated the hell out of it.

1) I agree with Syrll, if the account was locked/banned, Syrll should still be able to log into the account and it should say its locked/banned. So I believe Pillslave you recalled your account.
2) Syrll, you keep saying Pillslave resold/traded the account you traded him. What is the sell thread URL? Pillslave has sold 2 SWTOR accounts since his trade with you. Is it one of those?

3) Pillslave, why would Syrll owe you $70 for the warranty, even if you didn't lock/ban his account? The warranty was a substitution to not having the ID, but that does not entitle you to a money payment because the warranty became void. That simply puts Syrll in direct responsibility for the account if anything should happen to it. Plus if you already sold it, that is even less reason why you should get $70 for it.

So far:

Sryll lost his SWTOR account (possibly recalled by Pillslave)
Pillslave sold the account he got from Sryll

Again I agree with Sryll, Pillslave you lost nothing while Sryll lost his SWTOR account.

I want pillslave to prove to me the account is banned. PM me the login info for the SWTOR account. If I cannot login with the info you give, I want all your original info and I will call Bioware myself to find out what happened.

Regardless of whether it was banned or recalled, Pillslave own Sryll compensation for the SWTOR account he lost.

lol i never recalled it. i quit swtor because of this and i told you numerous times i called bioware to have your account banned since mine was. i never tried to recall it i just told them it was being traded and sold so they had it locked, thats why you cant login.

Which is it, is the assassin banned or not?

1) You resold the assassin anyway. 2) Because your PA account was banned does not give you the right to ban/recall the SWTOR account you traded. You still re-sold the SWTOR account you received from Syrll and that account is still fine (I think)

3) Sryll has now posted an email from Bioware showing you recalled. You WILL be banned unless you prove to me the account is banned and not recalled. PM me the login info for the SWTOR account. If I cannot login with the info you give, I want all your original info and I will call Bioware myself to find out what happened.

If you do not provide me with this info you will be banned in 48 hrs.

what? i just called bioware and told them the acct info and said its been traded and sold multiple times and hung up. i dont even have swtor installed or any reason to even play it anymore. im in the process of moving to a new state and dont have time to deal with video game issues.

oh and that email says nothing that the account was recalled. thats an automated response to an email YOU sent them asking for the account back or whatever you said.

Looks like I was mistaken, that email does appear to be Sryll contacting Blizzard to recover the account.

Sryll, you have ID and CD keys, what is the status of the account? Have you been able to recover it?

The email was not from me contacting them. Theres really no way to prove one way or the other though...but I would rather not have an account that has been locked due to it being sold/traded...imagine they will keep a closer eye on ip changes.

I do not have the account and would rather have the assassin back or be compensated.

I did nothing to your account besides have it banned because i was angry at you for screwing me over. im past that now and you shouldnt touch the assassin because i sold it fair and square to someone on the site. and i wanted the PA account incase HE ever had any trouble. this post wasn't even for me.

i shouldnt have to re imburse you when you can unban the account easily with the ID and CDkeys I have provided you. Sorry this happened again, but like I said I will help you in the unlocking process, but I do not even have the funds to re compensate you and i will NOT recall the assassin which i've already sold, that would be completely unfair.

By the way, the whole reason this happened was because Syrll kept IMing me and begging me to logon the PA account he gave me (which i changed to my personal info, and he could easily steal back) since he didn't have much rep I decided to NOT let him logon it and then a couple days later it's banned because he made a new one in the same info, closing mine and transferring the assasin's warranty to his PA account. Now he will probably recall the assasin and have the person I sold it to coming after me. Sigh, wish I never made this thread now.

Can one of you first recover the account so it is active and in someones possession, then we will go from there. You both have ID and CD keys, so one of you just do it. Right now this is going no where.

The whole reason this happened is because Syrll wanted to "borrow" the PA account after the trade to buy a $75 account on PA. I didn't trust him due to his rep and said no and then 2 days later it was banned. I am trying to contact him on AIM and asking him how we can solve this but he won't answer me. Either way, I probably won't be able to go on the internet starting tomorrow if i dont respond. Hoping to end this asap and just have him unban the account today.

So I called and tried to get the account unlocked. The guy I talked to said someone called in within the past few days and changed the email and got the account locked. After verifying all the sq/a's and info on ID he told me the email it was changed to, which happens to be the one it was when pillslave traded it to me. How convenient. Anyway they said they couldnt change anything else without me sending in ID from the original email address it was registered to when created. Sending the ID from any other email would not be acceptable.

Mike you are welcome to call back and verify this, they have noted the account as such.

It was never changed to my email, they told me the same thing. its under an email callled "valen16" or "valen10" i was told and that the ID has to be sent from that email, which apparently is yours. theres no way it was changed to the email i gave you because im currently using that on my main account with two level 20s...so dont try to lie. let him call and get it back for you, or just send the ID from your email thats attached to it right now

And no I did not say anything wrong, the guy I talked to believed I was the oo, but said because multiple people have called in saying they were the OO that the ID had to come from the original email. I don't need help from a teenager on how to talk to a csr, i've been doing this **** longer then you've been wiping your own ***.

The BW rep would not lie to me and say the email was under your's and they couldnt change it to mine just for ****s and giggles. He actually said he was the one who talked to you and that you verified the name, address, birthday and original cdkeys used to create the account, so unless you have a photographic memory your computer didnt break and you did not lose any of the information. Can not wait till you are banned.

I have to agree with Syrll on the email issue. If the account is in dispute between two people, it makes sense for Bioware to ask for that info to be sent from the originally registered email address.

Pillslave, I'm assuming you are not the OO and do not have access to the email address original registered on the account. Can you contact the person you got it from and have them send in all the required info?

the guy i got it from hasnt been on AIm since but thats his mmobay name too i think. it was never registered to my email dude. if it is then send me a PW reset right now and ill happily give you the account lol.

Why can't Syrll recall it? He has email access and when I called they told me the e-mail on it, which was Syrll's. He has the ID scan and all info so he tell them he no longer has access to his original e-mail just the one that was on it last (His, called valen{16 or 10}@gmail.com). They will accept an ID e-mailed from that account for sure. They told me I needed to send in an ID from that e-mail. THe first or last used email can be used to send in the ID, trust me. so syrll just has to call them and explain that he no longer uses/has access to the OOs email and that valen@gmail will work.

When I called they asked for the original OO's email too, but then said they can only accept ID from the linked email-valen. either syrll just wants me to pay him or doesnt fully know how to get the account back on his own.

Your imcompetent because I was told by BIOWARE the current email on it should work but like Mike said, too many people probably have called since then so they won't unlock it unless Jackson sends in the ID (He's the OO).

I don't sit on my AIM all day I just msged you like 2 days ago saying I'll help in anyway I could. And honestly I dont care at all if im banned. Pillslave, the initial dispute was over a warranty, at that point nothing was wrong with either accounts until you flipped out and got one of them banned. This entire situation is your fault. You over-reacted, plain and simple.

You say "you stole from me and I got you back, even worse." But that's false, nothing was taken from you, you didn't pay $70 for the warranty, so asking Sryll to pay you $70 was never going to happen anyway. Sryll was willing to provide you with his own personal warrant since the PA warranty was void. Every trade or sell on this site is with a personal warranty between the buyer and seller. There's nothing wrong with that.

Hopefully JacksonAK92 will be able to help you resolve this.

Just unfair he gets full info and my info was banned a couple weeks later, so I did the same to him. Anyways I guess I can't help anymore without any of the account info so good luck to Syrll.

A warranty through me would have ended up better for you, but you flip out and get my account locked. The PA warranty was only good for a credit on the PA website and if you're not gonna be playing games anymore then a warranty through me would have gotten you cash. But you made your decision.

This is my last post before I get on the plane and won't have solid internet for a couple weeks.

We talked a bit last night and I called BW for him. After talking for 2 hours trying to get them to accept the ID from a diff email. Then after that they transferred me to tier 3 support and I was told the account is permanently banned and too many people have been calling and even with an ID from any email they won't unlock it. Apparently Syrll or someone else who had it botted or had Chinese players on the account because BW said many diff IPs logged on and a lot were from China. They had it banned for botting anyways, and then on top of this ownership dispute they said there's nothing I could do.

I guess I have to compensate Syrll now but I don't think its very fair that he deserves $300 from me and I still lose out on an account. But like I said I don't have the funds now and I am taking trip almost cross country at 3pm EST today and won't be back online for a while. When I get back I guess will be the only time I can repay him, I have to buy a new car and new apartment so no money can be spent now.

If the account was eventually banned sometime down the road for botting or farming, you wouldn't be responsible, but the primary reason it was perm-banned is because you called Bioware the first time to get it banned. There's no proof any botting took place, other than taking your word for it.

So yes, in the end you have to compensate Syrll for the lost account, as you still have his and already resold it.

Sryll, do you want to set a deadline for this? Pillslave says he won't be around for 2 weeks, or do you want him temp-banned until compensation is given?

I'll give him 1 month...and I said I didn't want 300. I had a buyer for the account at 150 ish I think. Will check pms when I get home to be sure. But since accounts are coming down some anyway I think 100 is more them fair.
