Ive been scammed

Well i found an account on ebay that i was interested in. I contacted the seller and he wanted a private sell so i spoke to him on msn and he wanted £70 for the account. I made the payment with paypal and once the payment was completed i asked him to tell me the account details. he asked me to hold on went afk for ten minutes and then logged off. Ive not seen him since and i dont think there is anything i can do about it. Waiting for him to come back online and then i will update my post with his msn etc.

2 big mistakes
1- you payed w/out having any proof that you actually bought it anything in emails or aim isnt legit most of the time
2- you actually bought it lol

i doubt you'd ever get it sorry to tell you that

File a complaint with paypal and get the money recalled.


In the future, do not ever deal outside of ebay for an ebayed auction. A sell offering to end the auction early outside of the website 99 times out of 100 = scammer, because it saves them from having to worry about the hassle of filing complaints with ebay.

Hes come online and said that he can give me the username and password tomorrow. Thanks for the advice Ill try filing a complaint if it doesnt happen.

Yay, turns out it wasnt a scam after all. He was just waiting for an email from blizzard with the account details, i dont see why he didnt tell me that before though tbh.
