Is there a 100% safe way to buy an account?

Ive sold a few accounts and only have bought one before but I remember I hated the feeling that the account could be recalled any time and I sold it off quickly.

Is there any 100% safe way to buy an account? Or no matter what I do, can the account be recalled?

People will say what they want your to believe. But there is NO 100% safe way of buying an account...the OO can ALWAYS recall.

No 100% foolproof way of ensuring account security. I even had an account that had it's registered name switched when I merged it to my personal battle.net (before the November battle.net requirement) and it still was recalled.

- Speak to the guy you are buying from and make sure he is a trustworthy person you can contact if problems happen.
- Get a photo ID of the original owner where he grants you permission to use it only in case the account is recalled/suspended
- Buy from someone in the United States and Canada only.
- Make sure he is a verified seller/buyer with the merchant you are sending money to.

Just some more in depth ideas.

Even then, you are never 100% guaranteed. The only way to be 100% guaranteed is if you have a verbal agreement with World of Warcraft that this is an untouchable account. Even then, I'd say it is 99.9% guaranteed.

Nothing is 100% guaranteed in life.

What if you created a new account with new CD keys, new Secret Question (same name and address as the OO of course) and then switched the Toon(s) to the new account. Wouldn't the OO or seller only be able to recall the account that had the Toons moved off of? Would they be able to get the new account without the CD keys and SQA?

I had an account recalled too after an in-person meeting and all information exchanged, which is what made me think about the above.

Reverse Character Transfer is possible. It happened to me. OO took the character off my personal account back in December '09. I called his parents to deal with it. The best way to deal with this stuff is get the account from the OOs and get their contact information for parents, schools, etc.

When your buying or selling account there will never be a time that it is 100% safe
