Hi Mods,

Been a long time member and supporter of this site and couple of days ago I received an infraction for pricing not added to threads. These threads were created before the pricing went into effect and also these threads were not bumped for atleast 2weeks+. I talked with the mod that gave me the infraction and let him know that all of my other open threads that I have not bumped I either closed all of them and or marked as sold. Since this is something new that went into effect and I have been really busy with IRL I believe that the infraction should be removed if possible. I have always followed all rules on this site and this was something new that was implemented after I created my threads and also it slipped by because of irl work / job / kids / wife.

Thanks,

Logisticz

I'm glad one of tbem was reversed for you. Since you had a double whammy on infractions, they should've been grouped up anyway (ending with 2 either way). :)

Well that's what I am saying. It shouldn't have been given in the first place. I asked the mod to reverse the second one since I told him I was going to close all threads and or mark them as sold. I been creating threads for the past 3+ years and never received this infraction. A msg could've have been enough for me to just close everything.

The rule is actually not new, it's was added about a year ago, but it wasn't strictly enforced because we didn't have enough mods. We started to add local mods and have added about 45 so far, so we're able to enforce current rules more strictly which is why many members are receiving these infractions now.

Basically the way the rules works is this.

If you link to another website that has prices, your thread must also have prices.
If your site has a lot of different price points, you don't have to include all, as it would be too much work. You can do averages or just list the most popular items in the thread, then link to your site for the less popular items/services.

If you don't link to a website with prices, then you're not required to add prices. You can then just say "price negotiable" or "contact for pricing info" in your thread.

Thanks for the clarification. That kind of means this rule did not really apply to me. I have only had couple of personal threads of my own accounts that I was selling with there price listed in side the thread. The thread listed here is what I got the infraction for

I had the price listed inside the entire time and also keep in mind I have not touched / bumped this thread for the past 2+ weeks before getting the infraction.

Thanks

Ahh I seee. Well anyway lesson learned I guess. I'll keep that in mind going forward. Thanks
