Story:
I was asked to contact the user using Discord.
We negotiated a price.
They wanted me to use "Cashapp"
I didn't have that, so we decided on "OfferUp"
They then cancelled the transaction, stating there was a sellers fee.
We attempted to use Paypal.
They sent me an invoice, I paid.
They cancelled that as well, stating that there was a hold on the funds.
I questioned their motives, but they reassured me.
I offered to do the traditional Friends/Family method.
They accepted.
I sent payment.
Waited for delivery.
The seller blocked me, changed their Discord name.
I left a review on their profile and their form.
They alleged I scammed them?
Here is the entire conversation that went place on Discord.
They have since changed their name.
I attempted to file a dispute thru Paypal, but I was denied because they stated I authorized the transaction.
I have filed a dispute with my bank, Wells Fargo.
They are investigating the matter now and the charge has been placed on hold.
