I just got scammed with fake "original" email

It's almost 5 AM Here and I was farming the battlepass and suddenly I got this, didn't get any email, any password recovery option, nothing, please help I don't want to lose my money.

ARMIK (The Middleman) Can confirm that the email he provided as "Original Creation Email" didn't have any emails from Origin but the seller promised it was the original email.
Please help me I don't know what else to do

I blocked u on discord thats why I just messaged u and its red lmao. What a joke that says password changed not account recovered, if you changed it to your email after the transaction your the only one who can do that.

Just sent in recovery but it is weekend so probs no reply on next week. I still think your the one that changed it and is attempting fraud since it only says password change, which you can easily do but w/e. Get this farce over with. Coincidentally in your discord chat history box one of your friends added me as the dispute started and tried to sell me something hmmm.

If he changed the email and phone number etc to his own when he bought the account, there is no way he did not get any email for the changes made to his account, every time information is changed on an origin account it is sent to the current registered email. So even if I did recover this account and tried to scam him, he would get notification of the recovery or w/e in his email. He said there is not any password recovery option, literally click forgot password and set new one if it is still set to his own contact info. Again, even if I changed to back to mine for the supposed scam, he would be notified of the changes which he hasn't yet shown proof.

I will keep you updated about the recovery process I just started. Honestly what a huge waste of my time.

Shows that on 17/02 (time may not sync due to me living in Australia timezone) which is when the transaction took place, both my password and email were changed and I was still notified, secondly @ARMIK can you confirm that is the gmail you changed to please.

This email was received on [email protected] which is the second email I used on that account I sold. Reason for changing: my original origin ID was Veldanavae, hence the original email [email protected]. ID was going to be changed to Ziuhn hence [email protected] but I decided to go with Yewhi in the end.
 
Honestly disputes should require the disputer to prove the recovery also fake original email claim, how is that proved by a password change? Ill be going to sleep waiting for updates will post when i wake up
 
It's standard to ask for help from the transaction partner when someone is claiming a scam. We are not mind readers and have no way to tell who is lying and who is not. Hence why we ask for responses, to help figure out what is happening.

I don't deny your claim that emails are sent when changes are made. But game mods have the ability to change info without notifications, manually.

Awaiting an update when you receive a response from EA.

this is true. the seller is responsible for what he is selling here unless it was stated and confirmed otherwise.

I received both email and game access. i secured them both, and even changed the email to my personal one, so that if the original email thta was given to me is recovered it will still be on another email.

That doesnt however mean its 100% recall protected. the original owner has the upper hand when contactin the support.

I don't have the obligation to show personal chats with other people, and that's not ethical, however I'll gladly show you whatever chat you want to see from my "Friends" if MODS ask me to do so. I'm not afraid to fight back for what I paid or get a refund.
They're all sellers. Because I've been looking for an Apex Account since weeks. And when I finally find something with a decent price, I get scammed.

VitoDeLaCito, the seller with most reputation on the Apex Legends category can even tell you for how long I've been looking.

You may have caused the account to be hacked due to shady activity and taking it out on me. I merely voiced suspicisions due to the odd situation the so called recovery took place since I did not do it. Though you seem very adamant that I'm scamming you from the start with no evidence.

I would not be wasting my time with helping you recover something you may have lost yourself and defending myself if I did "scam you". Cpuld easily have no replied at all and what couls you do about it? Here's proof I opened a ticket immediately after this diapute started. I have been trying to provide evidence and reason for you to believe that it wasn't me but you've just been making bold claims without support.

You said you changed the email to your personal one? It seems he claims you gave him another email that I have no idea of that he checked for the password reset email? Can you confirm you did this.
 
Then is it a possibility of account sharing or lack of security that lead to it been stolen by someone else? Did they send the screenshots privately to you?

We dont need guesses. You were asked to contact the EA support and see what happened to the account.

if you're original owner of the account - they will restore the access to you, then you will need to pass the details to the buyer.

If you bought it from someone else but didn't disclose this info prior to making a thread/trade - you will be responsible and will need to help recover either account or issue a refund

So if this supposed recall happens multiple times or if the buyer leaks the account through phishing I have to come back and fix the problem, what about an account ban?
I have contacted EA, while waiting through the weekend for a response I am simply gathering info on the current situation and I can see a lot of things that conflicts but whatever.
