Hi, need some help here. A seller refused to use a middleman, etc so against my better judgement I sent payment first, and since yesterday I have had little to no contact. Using their paypal link, I was able to determine their identity by messaging the seller on social media. Despite this I was still scammed. I want to get my money back, what would be the best way to do this? I disputed via paypal and it obviously failed as payment was through family/friends. What would I need to say/do to my cardholder to guarantee a chargeback. P.s scammer is from the US.
