Now I cannot for the life of me find a must read, or faq so I'll just make a post asking these noobie questions.

I want to purchase a warfame account, how do I do this, how does the transaction work? Since I'm new and have zero credibility I will have to go first which I assume means I pay upfront. Which is fine but how do I know the person actually has what is listed? how do I know he doesn't just take my money and runs? could someone please give me a example of how a deal works? another thing most of the safety whatnots don't explain how the buyer is protected. If i gift my money and the person runs I have no way of getting my cash back, anyone mind enlightening a noob?

check his account, skype name, if they're banned here or other sites u will probably find on google search.
Ask screenshots or let them to screenshare of his account if he really have that account he's trying to sell like he can access.
If the seller have rep then it would be comfortable for u to go first. If both of you have no rep and better to use middleman because some seller gave fake account informations. But beware for fake middleman's. You will end up being sabotage by the seller and fake middleman.

Be vigilant in those too good to be true deal that looks tempting and seems real like offering to pay more than a price for what u are selling for. Or selling for cheap to get a quick sale. You're asking to get scammed


Don't deal to those people who contacted u on skype directly, let them post in your thread or ask them to PM you for verification. Because some of them are impostors.
As refference for whatever happened Keep chat conversations specially if u talked on steam only, If u closed the steam chat and you're screwed u have no proof.
