Nowdays, i received 'please confirm that it is you' messages.

He somehow got the exact same discord addresses with me. I already put a warn on my signature and posts. My discord id :

Yes, instead of using a third-party platform for communication, use our chat system. This should go into the off-site scammer section.

make sure you add to threads that you do not add people on discord first. and that you will always contact them here. If anyone sends you a message to confirm a code or number to prove identity do not respond its likely someone trying to trick you in double sided scam.

Discord allows others to have the exact same username and # number. This is why we stopped reviewing discord scams more than 2 years ago.

It's been over 2 years and they have not fixed this problem so my guess is they never will. I don't recommend anyone using Discord for sales.
