Due to the recent influx of hacked accounts, we are adding new recall rules to help stop the sales of these types of accounts.
https://www.epicnpc.com/infocenter/forumrules.html

Sellers who have a high rate of account recalls will received feedbacks based on the following guidelines.

Number of recall claims within 30 days

  • 2 recall claims - 1 neutral feedback added
  • 3 recall claims - 1 neutral feedback added
  • 4 recall claims - 1 negative feedback added
  • 5 recall claims - 1 negative feedback added
  • 6 recall claims - ban

Example: If you have 2 recall claims, a neutral feedback will be added. If you receive a 3rd recall claim, another neutral feedback will be added and so on.

Recall claims are not investigated, but accounts reviews will be conducted on the members making the claim. The seller will have to open a Feedback Dispute thread if they want to claim the feedback is false. Replacing the account or providing a refund will not prevent feedback from being given to the seller.

What if accounts got there email reverted some how because that happens sometimes

If something like that happens and a company makes a major change that affects thousands of accounts they normally announce it. If we see a news article posted, then exceptions will be made for sellers during that time.

Not always because with battle net accounts, sometimes when you change the email they change back for some reason, it happend for an account I sold the other day, he changed the email two days later it changed back to mine itself, I wasn't to OO so I couldn't of done it but I just changed it back to his, but issues like this can be accused for re-call

This rule is meant to target other games, LoL, Steam and a few others.

We're targeting sellers that sell large quantities of accounts for cheap. WoW has not had issues with mass recalls or hacked accounts in a long time. While recalls in WoW happen all the time, they're limited due to how strict Blizzard's account security is.

League of Legends and Steam on the other hand have very poor security. A hacker can hack 1000 accounts, then bulk sell them. This is the type of thing we're looking to stop. Sellers that sell in bulk and give replacements accounts anytime a buyer complains of a recall.

Because replacements accounts are given, the buyer almost never opens a dispute or gives a negative feedback, which makes it hard for us to investigate and ban the seller.

I would say don't worry if your a WoW seller. This rule would most likely never affect you.

Does this mean that I can recall one account per month and get away with it? :D

Banned - Scammer https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/1019483-Scammed-by-ADJ/page3
Finally! I hate peoples that sell hacked accounts. In CSGO Section It happens too often.

Much needed change as so many people seem to consider hacked accounts not theft.

Wow hasn't had massive hackings in a long time. Unmerged battle.net accounts were the last available hacked accounts in massive amounts.

That would just result in permament ban if caught so totally no worth it.

Buyers can still open disputes as normal. This rules is not to replace normal recall disputes, but to add additional protection to stop sellers who sell mass hacked accounts.
Because replacements accounts are given, the buyer almost never opens a dispute or gives a negative feedback, which makes it hard for us to investigate and ban the seller.
If the seller provides replacements and the buyer never opens a dispute, how are you going to know that the seller is selling hacked accounts?
What if the seller gives a warning that he is not responsible for recalls?

If the buyer never says anything, then we won't know about it. This will be monitored by posts, report and emails we get. Warranties will be irrelevant to this rule.
