Former EpicNPC Moderator Taking Advantage of Their Status

Hello! A few weeks ago I posted a thread looking for an Overwatch account to buy. Many people contacted me over Discord, most being obvious scams. One of these people being Twonk (Currently known as Lucky_Charms), a moderator on this site. He offered me a nice looking account for the low price of $150. After making a decision on his offer, I asked for more recent screenshots of the account which he wasn't able to provide due to people being able to use them for scams. Which is understandable. I then asked for confirmation through private message, which he was also unable to do since my account was 'Too new'. This was untrue, since I had been messaging a few other sellers through EpicNPC. I felt bad for giving him so much trouble for confirmation, but you can never be too safe. After pestering him some more for confirmation, he disappeared from the conversation, un-added me, and changed his name.
I had been doing background checks on each seller, and while reading his EpicNPC threads I had come across a scam accusation that looked very similar.

At first I believed the whole impersonation thing, I'd imagine it's a common occurrence after all. However after double-checking the thread I had noticed the number tag on the deleted account in their screenshots matched the number tag in Twonk's tag. Coincidental...
It's nearly been a month since this happened, and after coming back to report (I didn't want to report it just after buying an account off of another seller), I see many others have fallen victim to this scam. I'm aware that Discord scams won't be resolved on here, but I'd just like to raise awareness of this person.
Please when buying/selling/trading anything off of anyone online, do your research! Ask questions! Use a middleman! You can never be too safe! Be careful, and stay safe!

As I stated and provided you the ways to check this on the 4th when you messaged me about this. You have to do your homework period, go ahead and look at my picture here btw. I DON'T USE DISCORD because its full of scamming little kids.

So stop opening up disputes on my name without doing your homework right. And yes you can have the same name with nitro with the same last # in discord. only difference will be the discord ID number which was instructed on how to get.

Common Sense is hard to come by these days, that is why it is easy for this scamming person to trick new members.

@IKafka In the images it shows the discord ID is someone with discord nitro. Discord nitro allows you to change your discord tag including the numbers to whatever you want it to be. It can be used to directly match anyones discord ID which is why we do not investigate these disputes as it normally is a waste of time. Discord is the worst communication platform to do business through.

If you intend on doing any business on discord I will always recommend that you message the user through site to get confirmation. Every user can use the PM system here, regardless if they are new or old.

The only thing that can not be changed is the dev ID on discord. If you check the dev ID on the impersonators discord then add the user they are impersonating you will see that they are two different dev IDs.

You can have the same number, if you couldn't you mean there is only 9999 people that use discord.

Even with Nitro Discord doesn’t allow you to use the same number tag as someone else, it’ll force you to choose a different set of numbers.

It will only force the numbers to randomize after the discord nitro subscription ends. While you have discord nitro you can choose both the discord ID and numbers. This is exactly why we do not review discord only scams because discord is a terrible platform to do business through.

*Looks for the block button* Some people I guess never get the grasp of things no matter how much you provide proof and even show them.

Honestly makes me think they are part of the operation scamming people, but honestly I really don't care if you are I already busted the main person doing it anyway.

Once again good day or night, and next time you want to try and blast my name I will take it as harassment.
