I stand by everything I said. I've explained in GREAT detail here (
https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/fak...equested-refund-refused.2581657/#post-9178636) in my original dispute forum, which contains 40+ screenshots and the story of how I have tried to recover the money I spent for the account for over half a year. For the sake of time, I will not repost the screenshots in this forum unless specifically requested, since I have limited time to respond + they're already publically available.
First, fakerjockey claims "The whole story is that he bought an epic seven account for 1300$ from me." WRONG. I bought the account for $1,351 USD. $51 USD might not be a lot for him, but that difference is important to most buyers, including me.
Here is a screenshot of the payment.
Second, he says "2 weeks later that account no longer exists in gmail, he still has gmail but the game account is no longer there." This is true, although I offered to return him the gmail as it's useless to me. I no longer have access to the gmail account. I have screenshot evidence that
Fakerjockey2508 verified the account was recalled by the original owner and that we agree on fact. I have multiple screenshots on my original dispute thread verifying this as well (
https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/fak...equested-refund-refused.2581657/#post-9178636).
Third, he says "So I proposed a refund to him, initially we agreed to refund 1100$." This was
NEVER agreed upon, and I linked 3 screenshots in my original dispute forum that showed my intention. I said I would accept that amount if he paid it
immediately,
NOT if he separated that amount over a year. If he had more time AND made me wait for my money back, he should return ALL of it. This he acknowledged because
MULTIPLE times I had mentioned he owed me the full $1350, which he agreed (screenshots in original post). He and I agreed that he would refund me the full $1350 on multiple occasions, as evidenced by those screenshots.
Finally, the most important part, "Then as you can see in the photo, he wanted more money than the original agreement, I agreed to send him another $80, he wanted $100 but I didn't agree yet."
I actually REDUCED the amount I wanted to make things easier for him, despite it being unfair to me. He kept begging me to reduce it even more, which I
did not agree to. Here is the full conversation we had most recently, which didn't make it into my original dispute thread because this happened after. I believe he posted the convo as well, but I want to make sure that it's here. Also, please note how Fakerjockey says "I agreed to send him another $80" yet hasn't even sent me $80. He sent my $70 lol. Like EVEN if all his words were to be believed, he would still owe me money.
Notice how he says he has $36 now (after making multiple 500+ dollar sales via tradeguardian on epicnpc) and I said can you make it $100 (WHICH IS LOWERING IT FROM THE $130 he agreed to pay me). He said "ill try but 80 is in my control" and I said you have had 5+ months to get my back my $100. He said he can do $36 now and $40 later, and I said just give me $100 in one payment in a week when he can get it. He said $80 in a week, and I said you can do $80 next week, and then $20 in a month. He paid me $70 then stopped responding lol. Who says I agreed to just $70 after already lowering the final amount to $100? The point is no matter what, I
still lose money because the owner recalled an account because he lied about the safety of the account and sold me an unsafe account. He refuses to pay me what I paid him for the account. Also, I gave him multiple chances and reminders afterward to send me the final bit of money, but he ignored me and didn't communicate with me.
He further lies and says I agreed to $70 when the FULL SCREENSHOTS show I NEVER agreed to it. Ever. He still owes me $30, and when he gives it to me, I will drop my feedback but for the record, I still won't be even and will still be down money.
I AM STILL down over $100 down for this scam. For me to practically donate him $100 is unfair to me, who barely got to play on the account I bought.
So my response: The feedback is
NOT too harsh. He's a
scammer. This is fraud and dishonesty. He didn't refund me the amount I paid, made me wait close to a year to refund some of the money, and at the end of it all, I'm still down over $100 USD. I contacted him through the right channels, I gave him months of time, I never harassed him or verbally abused him, and I'm using the proper channels to report his dishonesty. In my opinion, the feedback should stand as a scammer as long as I'm still down money because of him. Also, as explained above, I never agreed to let it go after he just sent me $70. He said he would pay me $80 (which is still more than $70 which is all I got before he started ignoring me) AND the lowest I was willing to agree to was $100, as shown in both of our screenshots.
Everything I said in my feedback is true:
- I bought an account from him
- The account was recalled
- He said that it the account was safe, it was not
- He has taken over 8 months to refund me money, and I'm still down over $100
- On multiple occasions, he has logged on epicnpc to do business but hasn't responded to me
- I posted a dispute thread with many screenshots to prove what happened
- He isn't safe to buy from because he doesn't communicate well and the accounts he sells are not secure (from the perspective that my account got recalled in under two weeks)
- "The wise man learns from the mistakes of others."
To the admins: If you need any other evidence, screenshots, or thoughts please don't hesitate to ask. I think that the feedback should stand for the reasons above. The community should be warned when dealing with someone like Fakerjockey.
