Full story:
I will attach screenshots of our discord conversation as evidence.
I found a post from him on EpicNPC. He didn't have the account I was looking for so time passes between our first encounter and the purchase.
He showed me an account I liked and after inspecting it, I bought it for $1350. The screenshot/proof of payment is above. To secure an Epic Seven account, he had me log onto the gmail account. However, as he was trying to hand it over to me he tripped a few Gmail security features, which prevented me from changing the region, password or language (essentially, just preventing me from swapping important settings). He suggested I wait a week to change this info.
The account was recalled, I figured it out while I was trying to log on after updating the game.
We tried to troubleshoot. He asked if I still had access to Gmail and I answered yes and also noted that nobody else had logged in (verified through Gmail's security system). I let him log in to prove the account was truly gone, which he verified. I asked how the original owner could recall the account if I had full access to the email and he didn't know how. My suspicion is that the original owner emailed Stove and said the account was hacked.
Either way, Fakerjockey2508 verified that the original account owner was a scammer and indeed the account was recalled. He did this both by reaching out to the original owner and to Stove.
He apologized for the recall and said that while he has no money to send me back, he will eventually. In the meantime, he tried to get me to accept other accounts instead of a refund, but at that point, the trust was broken because there was no guarantee his other accounts wouldn't just get recalled soon after.
Here is the point of contention. On this day, I typed:
My intent was that if he paid me back immediately or at least soon, I would accept $1150 because it's an immediate return. However, if he takes his time and doesn't pay me back, I would expect him to refund me fully for the account that was recalled. Let me point to a few other examples where we both understood that we would be refunding the full price because of his delays and that the $1150 was only if he refunded immediately.
Here, he pays me $1000 USD. I say "the rest can come later." (Evidence of refund
). Weeks later, I message him about the final $350, where he agrees to pay it. This is because, at this point in time, we both understand that the account has been recalled and he is giving me a full refund, which is fair. In return, I will give him time to sell his accounts and to slowly accumulate the money rather than having to do something drastic to immediately pay me back.
Two weeks later he is singing a different tune, saying how he'd only like to send $100 more ($1100 total for a $1350 account).
Please notice that once again, I affirm he's sending me back $1350 and he says "yes bro", because we are operating under the standard that that is the money paid, money scammed and thus, money to be refunded. Also, please note my patience. It's now been multiple months that I've given him time to pay me back. In hindsight, this should have been a red flag, however, he said he was poor and essentially living paycheck to paycheck, so I didn't want to force the issue if he would eventually pay. I feel as though he took advantage of my patience.
I message him a month later after March in May, where I confirm he's sold multiple accounts on EpicNPC, thus should be generating revenue. He starts off by saying he refuses to pay, but after some back and forth, he ends with "I will try but not sure the deadline for you." Once again, he promises to pay back at least $1300 here, I just need to be patient. The next 5 screenshots I will attach here show you the exact verbiage of the conversation, as the points I asserted to him are just as salient as they are here in this dispute thread. Please note that these screenshots are meant to summarize the main points of the conversation, but I would be happy to post additional information or take a video of the conversation if requested.
After the $1000, I received an additional $95 and $80.
I said the $95 could count as $100, so doing that brings the total to $1180, short of $1300 by $120.
He has been ignoring me, but while my messages have been left on read, he has sold dozens of accounts and is active on EpicNPC and Discord.
It sucks that I can patiently wait for him to get me the money back, but he'll take advantage of that to run out the clock so that my chances of a successful recovery lower.
To EpicNPC Staff: I understand that there are many reasons this dispute might not be successful. Lots of time has passed, yes. But this dispute is unique; nobody is disputing whether I have been scammed or not, we all agree I have been and the evidence is substantial. My point is that Fakerjockey2508 is on this platform selling accounts, making money, while withholding my money like it's some type of security collateral even though he advertised his accounts as "100% safe" with no possibility of recall. I urge you, just have him pay me back with the dozens of accounts he's been selling so we can move on. He's had so much time. If he isn't held accountable, there's nothing to say that he won't just do this again to another poor sap on this website. Please. Also, if it's not possible that I am to be refunded for the recalled account, then my other request is that I'm able to edit my feedback to negative. At the very least, I think that buyers should be warned that Fakerjockey2508 won't refund recalled accounts that he claims are safe and in his absolute control/possession.
I apologize for all the text and images, I tried to be as thorough as possible while also cutting out the super unnecessary stuff. Please let me know if there's any other information I can provide or action I can take.
Thank you.

The problem is simply that Fakerjockey2508 will not give me a full refund.
TLDR:
- I paid for and bought an account from him for $1,352 USD that he said he owned and advertised as "100% safe". We agree on this.
- The account was recalled in under two weeks. We agree on this.
- Fakerjockey2508 verified the account was recalled by the original owner. We agree on this.
- Fakerjockey2508 offered to refund the account. We agree on this.
- The dispute is that I wanted a full refund of $1,350. He was not willing to do a full refund despite our agreement that his "100% safe" account was recalled immediately.
- After many times of back and forth, I relented and agreed to accept a refund of only $1300.
- He refuses to pay more than $1180.
- I am hoping he will return my money of $120 to make $1300, if not $170 to make $1350. Additionally, I would like the opportunity to write him negative feedback if the money is not paid.
