OK let me just add this on second thought. The post was misleading. It did not indicate in any way that the email would not be changeable. I asked the seller through his admin before I bought the account if it was changeable and he indicated that it was. Raid apparently would not send the code to the email so I contacted raid several times to remedy the situation. They told me that I needed to know the geographic location and date of when I set up the account. Obviously the only person who has that info was the seller and he was unable to provide that. I give seller credit for trying to help recover the email code, but he should have known before he started selling accounts that the email would not work. I wasted a week of playing the account and battling him and customer service at raid. He only refunded me after he was unresponsive to my chat requests and I told him that I would leave negative feedback.
The statement that "this situation is rare and he can't control it," is again misleading. It is entirely up to the seller's control to provide access to the account via email or whatever means necessary. I doubt that it is rare, because obviously this is a situation that he is aware of. Maybe he can't do anything about it, but then he shouldn't be using that email provider to set up his accounts. It's still scammy to provide potentially worthless emails to your customers when you know there is a problem.
As far as the gift and other account are concerned, it's all irrelevant. First of all I don't want the account because the email isn't changeable. Second, his accounts he has listed are crazy overpriced, so a $100 account would realistically only sell for $20 on epic.
I appreciate the remedial measures that the seller has taken. I see now that he has posted clearly on the website that the email isn't changeable. I appreciate that he refunded the money. Regardless, I feel like he intentionally misrepresented the email situation in his original post and reserve my right to leave feedback according to my experience.
