The seller gave me a negative review after I gave a review for his poor services. I want to talk about some terms in Maplestory to make this case sound a bit easier.
- Range is like damage or stat numbers
- Meso is used as an in-game currency in Maplestory
- Meso gear is used to increase the rates of meso obtained
- Totems are used to increase the spawn rate of monsters to increase experience as well as meso. Each totem last for 2 hours
- Holy symbol is a buff used to increase the item drop rate of mesos making them into meso pouches instead of just coins (which means he would earn more rates, but I decided to ignore it)
- I changed night lord to shadower since I changed classes so if you see night lord 1-140 it is now shadower.
1. For the payment, I sent a total of $32, which consists of 8 hours of meso farming. He used two of my totems without permission to double the rates and only did 4 hours of meso farming instead to get the full total instead. For example, it takes 8 hours to make 920-950m (114 x 8) so he used two totems; 114 x 4 (4 hours) x 2 (2 totems: 2x rate) to avoid the additional four hours. Afterwards, he did the same thing for the next payment (8 hours as well) and used 6 hours of totem to the only farm only 4 fours hours of the obtained mesos as well as avoided two hours. Since I obtained meso gear (obtain higher rates of mesos) after his first meso farming, I make around 180 million an hour without totems. He used 3 totems which calculates to 180 x 6 x 2 = 2.160b, but he only farmed up to 1.4b. I paid him $32 for 8 hours so in total he was missing 4 hours since he only farmed another 4 hours using 6 of my totems and forgot to do the other two. So 4 x 8 = 32. This is called lazy farming (he would waste time and my totem by farming only the full duration of the totem (2 hours) then 1 hour (not full duration) and 1 hour again hence why he only made 4 hours of mesos even though he used 6 hours of totems. Let's not forget he forgot to do the last 2 hours since I paid for 8. Basically, he used 5 totems, which cost around 15 dollars, so I totalled up to 75. Afterwards, I totalled the missing hours, which was $32 around $102 but I only totalled it up to $84 since I forgot to calculate the missing hours from the second service and used prices from another seller $12 per totem
2. So he decided to offer me levelling services instead after going back and forth of admitting it, not admitting it and making lies up. So I asked him to level a few characters, phantom 192 to 200 ($10), zero from 180 to 200, ($10), cadena-shadower/night lord/dual blade to 140 ($39) and beast tamer to 188 to 200 ($12). I even forgot to calculate the other 4 hours of him not doing the meso services. Since he kept on being late on multiple occasions I decided not to take the full amount he owned me even though he said I took advantage of him..... I only wanted him to complete the service so I could avoid him in the future. He did level up everything but beast tamer. He said I needed 200 million in advance so I farmed up 200 million. Then he asked for 200k range, however, that is supposed to be his job when levelling. So I got it to 200k range, then I sent him a screenshot and asked him to finish it, but he started ignoring my messages.
TLDR: So what's the problem? In his fake review, he did not mention the missing hours from meso farming he owed me, he said he did not want to level beast tamer to level 200 since it had 12k even though I sent screenshots proving it had 200k range. He lied multiple times saying I took advantage of him when I gave him so much time and even did other services for him (getting range for beast tamer). Throughout my entire life of selling and buying on this website, I have not gotten a negative review about taking advantage of others or having any bad blood (I try to be reasonable and understanding). However, this person took 20 days to finish services, which should take less than 5 days and he did not complete them as well so I got frustrated and posted a bad review (a legitimate review). He continues to manipulate and lie (saying I took advantage of him every time he gets caught with his lie. The screenshots will prove his mistakes. To conclude, I do not believe I deserve a negative review after going through days and days of constant random bs from his lies, switch up and lateness. I do not think I did anything to be given a negative review as a buyer when I actually waited patiently and asked him kindly multiple times to finish the service. He posted this negative review because I posted one against him and you will see it in the screenshot.
