Hello,
I play DCS (Digital Combat Simulator) and for a while now I started thinking about selling my account. On it, I have over $600 worth of modules. There are mainly two reasons I wish to sell it:
1. I have a lot of modules/planes that are great, they are pretty much the go-to, best planes and maps someone would want to purchase on this simulator, but I realized those are too many for me personally. Some people like having a lot of options and I realized with my experience that I'd much rather have a smaller number of aircraft to focus on;
2. I have the standalone edition, which is arguably better, but for a while I wanted to move over to Steam, but since the modules aren't transferable to Steam, I would need to buy them again on Steam, so I need to sell my current account, otherwise I'd have duplicates for no reason.
I came across this website as an option to sell my account, but since I am new to it and, from what I have seen, there's a high risk of getting scammed if you don't pay attention, I want to first educate myself as best as possible so as to prevent a scam when I decide to sell my account.
I have read the Buying and Selling Safety Guides and Known Scams sections on this website, but I would like to know a bit more details before I do anything. I plan to make a sale offer
1. How does such transaction work, step by step? Where can I find what it looks like? If I go for one with a middleman, how do I make sure that middleman isn't teaming up with a potential scammer?
2. How can I ensure the potential buyer won't do something to refund his payment and scam me after I gave them the details to my account?
I would appreciate some help with these questions, and any further useful tips or information to set myself up successfully for this.
Thank you!
