This is an ongoing issue and will be resolved tomorrow morning. Blizzard billing team does not work weekends so we have been unable to clear the chargeback on the account he purchased. It is the result of a previous customer chargebacking us and apparently Blizzard too. As soon as we are able to get into a Blizzard chat this will be fixed and all will be good.

Update: Customer has now chargebacked us rather than allowing us to fix this issue. I have refunded them as this is not worth the headache on a $100 account.

I put my side of the story in the negative review. I will reiterate here again. I emailed as soon as I noticed that the account was locked behind a charge back on Friday (10/13). He responded promptly and said that he would call Blizzard and get the problem fixed. I emailed him two more times to get an update on what the situation was over the next 48 hours and did not get a response. When I asked for a refund, he immediately accused me of fraudulently filing an unauthorized charge dispute with paypal and threatened me with a civil lawsuit because in his eyes, I was "denying him his right to his property". First, this is untrue because I did not file a dispute at that time. Secondly, the product that he delivered was grossly misrepresented, so his end of the contract was not fulfilled. Finally, the civil suit would have been frivolous since it is my right to file a dispute when the product delivered was not the same as what was advertised. At this point, I decided that I would have paypal mediate the resolution since he did not deliver what was promised and attempted to keep the money.

I can provide screenshots of emails and timestamps for proof if needed.

All this could have been avoided if he had better communication with me, the customer. I had a very negative experience with James and Accountwarehouse and stand by my negative review.

1. Blizzard was contacted on Saturday and we were told to wait until Monday since the issue requires a member of their billing department and not the GM staff.

2. The email sent to you was sent in error and I immediately corrected it. I even offered to reimburse you for the month of gametime that you paid for as the account was not playable for a few days. Instead, you chose to respond with a chargeback (which is fraud by the way).

3. You were wanting an update every few hours and there is no further updates when we have to wait until Monday.

4. You were refunded, thus closing this case.

Which brings me back to the original issue I have with the company is their poor communication. The first response was prompt and timely, and I appreciated that. I asked for an update at the end of the first day, and had no response. Tried again to get an update a little later, and received no response. All that needed to be done was "Hey, Blizzard Billing isn't open on the weekends, I'll have this fixed by Monday." Blizzard support is available 24/7, so it is not impossible for people to believe that their billing department is available on the weekends as well.

I believe waiting 2 days without any updates or communication on the issue before asking for a refund is fair and not in the realm of wanting an immediate resolution.

You are correct that a charge back would be fraud because then I would be claiming that it was an unauthorized charge. I did no such thing. I opened a claim on PayPal because the product you delivered was grossly misrepresented (which is fraud by the way). It is your responsibility to check your accounts before you sell them and you failed to do that.

I believe this case is closed, I understand that mistakes happen when running a business and can forgive the civil suit threat. The communication from James and AccountWarehouse is still very poor and my experience with this transaction has still been negative.

This is nothing more than an attempt to ruin our reputation. He has like 3 posts on this website before this. We can't make everyone who uses our service happy but we do our best even when we end up in some bad situations such as this. The feedback is not constructive and simply aimed at ruining our reputation. The transaction was done on our website, has nothing to do with EpicNPC in any way. He's just using this forum (and likely many others) to vent his frustration and attempt to bring down our reputation. There is nothing constructive regarding any of this.

I offered to reimburse the customer for his gametime that he put on the account to make up for the wait and he responded with a chargeback. If anything, I should be leaving a negative review on him and opening up a scam thread but no need to turn this into a circus.
