I would like to file this scammer on discord. I file a report to get my account banned. However if you see this account please do not buy it, because it will get banned soon. This is the thread with information from the scammer.

Due to how easy it is to impersonate members on Discord, we have decided to end all reviews for Discord scam reports. Discord is now use at your own risk. We will assume 100% of discord accounts are fake and any disputes will automatically be closed if that was the primary contact method.

For feedback, if someone disputes a feedback and the sale was on Discord, we will also not review it. The feedback will be immediately removed.

Members can still use Discord and post it in their threads. However if a problem is reported and all communication was on Discord we will not review it.

Please use our on-site chat instead.

Clarification:

• If payment proof is provided, we will review the dispute as normal.
• This rule is for Discord impersonations reports only. Meaning a veteran member is impersonated on Discord by a scammer.
  • Scammers do not impersonate new members. We will still investigate these types of Discord reports.

let us say, I am looking to buy something on this website, and then the seller pm me on epicnpc

and then we continue to discord, and then the seller want use his friend as middleman on discord

and then I got scammed by the middleman, and the seller said he also don't expect his friend will be scammer

can I still dispute or report this seller at here?

let me rephrase and make it easier

1. A contact B by PM on epicnpc
2. A ask B to continue on discord for easier communication
3. B agree to purchase from A and A recommend C as middleman
4. C scam and run away with B's money
5. A claim he never expect that C will scam
6. deal is cancelled because C run with the money

now the question, can B report A at this site as scammer? since there is possibility that A and C join hand together to scam B

I am not the one that got scammed, it was someone else

and I advise him to open dispute on that link too

but moderator told me to not give false information and claim that if got scammed on discord will not be investigated

so I am trying to get the confirmation about the case here

I just got scammed, but the buyer use discord and I don't know his/her account on this site

and I just know and read about discord will not investigated

is there another recommended way to contact aside the chat on side?

I often got message on this site but not always got notification on my email, so I keep missing the deal due of my slow respond

currently I try download the apps from playstore and use it now, I hope the notification is better on apps

but, still if any expert/senior trader here can recommend alternative aside discord, please share the knowledge

Are the email notifications delayed or you don't receive some?

There are 2 settings for chat.

1. New messages from a member you never talked to
2. Message replies from existing chats

Make sure you have both enabled if you want to be notified for every chat message.

No, the seller will send the account to the MM to hold. Once MM confirms the account is correct the buyer sends the money to the seller directly. MM then sends the account to the buyer.

Most payment methods can be disputed. Like paypal for example.

theres many payment types, you will have to look them up online and discuss with the seller on what they accept. Besides the fee for tradeguardian which is paid to site, payment for the item is made to the seller directly not to the site.
