Hey

I wanted to try the new credit system, so i asked the buyer to pay in credits, however he tried to pay in paypal but he kept getting BITCOIN option only, i screen shared with him to see if it was true which it was,

just wondering was it a glitch or are non verified members only allowed to pay for credits in bitcoin?

It was few days ago so not sure if it still happens.

I myself do get the paypal option though.

If it was a glitch and it is actually possible for non members to pay in paypal than I really like the new trade guardian option, and for sure will use it for high $ trades to be safe from chargebacks.

I just think that the fee is a little too high, maybe lowering it abit will be nice

Oh, thats a big flaw to be honest, most buyers are non verified, and not many people really use bitcoin, i myself don't even have bitcoin.
would be nice if they allow them to use paypal or skrill

the member can choose to upgrade his account. the purpose is to try to reduce the risk of massive chargebacks whereby just anyone can use paypal option to get credits which can be cashout. As much as ya do, the site would also have to safeguard itself.

I cannot remember exactly but we had discussed skrill, But the issue is if they buy credits to buy your account or item and charge it back and win. Should we recall funds from you? Its a loophole for scams

As stated, we need to protect ourselves from chargebacks. If we allowed everyone to use Paypal it would be too easy for scammers to buy credits and chargeback the payments. This is why it's limited to only Verified members.

We will be adding another payment option later this year. In the mean time Bitcoin is very easy to get started with. Its similar to Paypal, you register an account and link it to a credit card or bank account. Then you can send and receive bitcoin.
