What is the dispute about?
I put my 10 year old Neverwinter account up for sale on 19-March-2023. That same day I got a message from the user "evilwind" on the thread. I then PMed him offering to answer his questions about the account. This is where he gave his discord and we continued there. He was on and off for 1-2 days so the deal was made on 21 March 2023.
I could give as much detail as you like. But to make it short I'll sum it up;
I gave evilwind AnyDesk access to my computer by screen sharing. Most of our talks were on discord. evilwind agreed to pay $1900 dollars for my account. I accepted his MM offer during our talks but he insisted I just change the e-mail and password so he feels safe. I got him to send $7 prior to changing the e-mail just to verify our transition method works. He said he will send the remaining ($1893 right after I change the e-mail to his).
Right after I changed the e-mail/password of my account his discord dropped (we were chatting at that time not writing). Within a few seconds he just removed me from discord and my messages didn't go through anymore. I tried reaching him multiple times but he is just ignoring me.
After being scammed I tried reclaiming my account back from the Neverwinter support site but at the end they verified that the other side (evilwind) told them that he had bought the account. They also said that most of the belongings were already transferred and that my account was permanently banned.
I have proof of the $7 bank transfer. It transferred a few hours after he sent it.
I have proof of the e-mail and password changes I made to his name. They are all shown in my e-mails with time stamps.
I have proof of Neverwinter support verifying everything I am stating here. They too are within my mails with time stamps.
I have proof I informed the thread and global mod regarding what happened soon after the incident.
As I said I can provide what you want. I can for simplicity sake share my computer session while explaining every single detail.. this should be way more efficient. Also I wouldn't want to display my banking receipt etc on the internet. So If you have the time we can arrange a remote session.
I have tried to persuade evilwind to do the right thing. But he responded with only slanders. I had informed a global mod named integrity about the situation soon after what happened. He advised me to try my luck here.
This guy evilwind is still actively trying to do business here. I can see him and his multiple usernames (like zedkey) activities going on as usual. This and his insistence on slandering has made me want to report him to you.
Other details / notes:
In hope to save my account from neverwinter support I had edited my original thread. (didn't want to expose myself and get the account banned). That didn't work as I said above. They told me that the email and password change was done on my side. Which also proves my claim here.
Also the easiest way to determine the truth;
I already got $7 (in my currency) from him. He has my IBAN which is what he used for the transfer. Where is the remaining $1893? I can share you "live" my bank account and the transactions. Can he provide any proof he sent anything after the $7? Also don't forget I have all the writings in my mails showing the e-mail was transferred to him. Plus Neverwinter official support confirms it was changed.
