Buyer account got hacked

Good day epicnpc

Im writing because of a buyer that recently got hacked and lost his inventory on steam.

Regarding this issue, he said that i am the only one that he has given contacts to and after boosting for him, i genuinely did not touch his account thereafter.
However, it is very difficult to prove that i am innocent because all these can be just plain words with no backings.

I would like to seek advice on what can i do to prove my innocence.

PS: buyer did not accuse me of hacking his items

Do you provide the boosting yourself or have a team of boosters that access account?
If i access valuable accounts i take pictures before and after and insist they change login information immediately after (no matter the value on account)
His computer security could be an issue.

Were the items removed while you were still boosting or after it was completed?

I do provide the boosting myself. Hmmm this is a good suggestion, and if they insist on not changing the password or does not cooperate, i guess they would have to take full responsibility then?

You're not providing enough info. If you finished the boost and contacted the buyer saying you were done, then the next day items were removed from the inventory, them most likely you would not be responsible. If you were still boosting and during the boost items were removed, then most likely you would be responsible.

I would need more info either way and some info from the victim to really make any kind of decision.
