I am currently in the planning of selling my MMO account.

I currenrly moving it to an other email adress, and deattaching socials/phone and stuff. One action (held-data-copy retrival, the EU thingy) is in the process, and will be lifted in one month time.

Should i, can i post my account for sale, by mentioning why it is held back (by me and only me), and how long, to find potential costumers until "ready o sell" moment, or i must post accounts only when they are ready to go as-soon-as a costumer can contact me.

Other: if it has a name change option from "value-maker" ingame currency, if i use MM, the MM will change the name (as the securing process), can if requested, or the frequent name change (and various login places) can hit back with higher chance? - asking those who has experience...

Thanks for the reply... and as a first post, for the site too!

When the buyer buys from you, the account should be in a state where it is fully transferred to the buyer and that they have full access to the account after sale.

If your account is still undergoing a process to get it ready for sale, then I suggest that you wait until everything is ready before listing it for sale.

Cant really answer your other question as I have trouble understanding what you're trying to say, maybe its a game thing.

For example if in the game i have 100 stars, what is worth 10 heroes (10 star per hero), but the name change charges 8 stars, then if i change the name, then the MM do it too, i lose 2 heroes worth of account value in the process (16 stars but the buyer can not buy the 9th hero...).
If i can avoid the opportunity to lose a hero, by letting the MM who must do the name change no matter what, or i can do it my self, when the MM not need to do it by default, then i would like to keep the value of the account higher by choosing one from the options.

can hit back with higher chance?

Okay, so what are you trying to ask about hit back with higher chance?

Yeah you can do whatever you need to do to the account, if by all means to keep the value higher yes you can do that.

Sorry, I'm trying to help but I still have trouble understanding what the actual question is

By hitting back i meant the "suspicious behavour on the account" -event, when i log in from one place, then the MM logs in to check and maybe changes the name from an other place, then the buyer do the same from a third time from the third place, in a short period of time ... maybe if the logins detected by AI that could be kinda dangerous... (I am just weighting the variables)

Yes, there's a risk involved in that.

It all comes down to the game/game developers though, do they have a system that detects multiple login locations etc

If it's about a game of risk, there's always some type of it in any situations when you're selling something to another party. I don't think having multiple locations switch impacts anything, really, since most games have a 2-step authentication if it's actually you. You can try disabling this option if you can.

I had same question. I am beginner here too

I'm not sure I understand the question.

You can post an item for sale to see what type of offers you'll get, however if a good offer is made you should be ready to transfer (sell) it. Some information needs to be change or updated before an account can be sold, so that should be ready before you list something for sale.

@hddndntttw, MM’s are always looking out for account security during the exchange so if you are worried about being flagged it might be worthwhile to request if the MM can use a VPN location based in your area, as some games do monitor this more so then others, all comes down to RNG and the publisher.

Best of luck with your sale.

You can also just hit your name twice to go to your user profile and you should be able to edit from there as well.

Hope that helps,
