Alright many of you know if not you will find out, but there are many scammers that visit this site, we will not mention were they come from, because it doesnt matter. Alright I want to share a few things with you when trading accounts.
Your going to always wanna check the his/her AIM name in the search button to see if they have made any posts on the forum, you can check where they live in that in there forum. They could be using a proxy don't forget but ask them were they live and you could find out if there a scammer or not by their location that they give you.
Next thing, never GO First, if you MADE the post, never give your info first. What your going to wanna do is check their account first, check to make sure its NOT battle-net merged, yesterday I had a guy simply state to me, he had to get his account merged because of something, he also had a good tactic in approaching me I have to admit, he gave me a phone number then he said that his Wife had his phone and not to call it. So I thought "Oh, Ok" Sounds legit, NO! It wasnt, You ALWAYS want to call them before even thinking about going on with the trade.
Always make sure they posted in your thread. This is a major concern if they do post, the admins may be able to track it down, they could be using a Proxy, if so contact me I might be able to (RE) it if it was done through AIM. If you could capture there IP, ask to fill a form out, on YOUR website, have something that captures IP addresses, and then GEO locate it to see where it comes out to be, then google the ip to see if it is possibly a Proxy.
