World of Warcraft - Illegal Account Activity‏

Greetings,

An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account in question is being sold or traded. As you may not be aware of, this conflicts with Blizzard's EULA under section 4 Paragraph B which can be found here: WoW -> Legal -> End User License Agreement
and Section 8 of the Terms of Use found here:
WoW -> Legal -> Terms of Use

The investigation will be continued by Blizzard administration to determine the action to be taken against your account. If your account is found violating the EULA and Terms of Use, your account can, and will be suspended/closed/or terminated.
In order to keep this from occurring, you should immediately verify that you are the original owner of the account.

To verify your identity please visit the following webpage:
https://us.battle.net/login/login.xml?ref=https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/&app=wam
Only Account Administration will be able to assist with account retrieval issues. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and your continued interest in World of Warcraft.

Sincerely,

Account Administration

This looks amazingly legit but their are a few prblms......

No account is currently on that email.....so why would blizzard send the email there?

Link is dead.......checked it out Blizz uses no such form!

Account Admin as title for from.......Ive dealt with account admin many times before and nvr have they used the name account admin but [email protected] as their title

This scam looks amazingly legit, it quite acctuly made my skin crawl because i thought i got caught!

Plz if anyone has encountered this tell me because this is a scam that almost got a vet here. plz tell me

For the Community--- WATCH OUT

Got the same email this morning, except, my email DOES have a battle net account linked to it. However, when I click to verify my identity, the link is dead with a 404 Error.

I did get very nervous when I read it, and truth be told, I still am! It's very legit looking, and scary.

I figured out how the email address is being faked.....its with a free service and friend was telling me about it.

So this is a scam so no worries but just watch out

NEVER CLICK LINKS IN THOSE EMAILS.
If you scroll over the links, at the bottom left of you're screen it will show what the real internet adress is.
do not be fooled, these are obvious scams.

same thing happened to me, now my old account is banned

i get about 3 of these a day to my old email address.. google seach of that email it comes up as [Epic] Over 1000 E-Mails - ******* - World of Warcraft Exploits

Banned - failed to resolve scam thread - http://www.epicnpc.com/scammers/448007-atraill-bought-leveling-services-but-never-paid.html
I get atleast 5 a day.. put it this way, if you have done nothing illegal.. you aren't going to get the email.

The other day this guy said "Giving away free [Reins of the spectral tiger] the code is ********************** go to www.tcg-battle.net to redeem your code. i went onto it and it looked exactly like blizz's site. so as im looking through it i tried all of the links and found a few that didnt work. But my point is that people have even went to such lengths as to replicate most of their site entirely. (the site does not work anymore cause it was probably taken down by blizzard)

i get alot of different version of that email...The Final warning one ...got me raelly going once but noticed no account name on it ..also the 3 hour suspension one ...and uhmm well i get about 10 of them A DAY ...

i got one a few days back... it told me to go to a link www.logon-battlenet.110mb.com and i went there put all my info and such... then the acc changed and i thought it was a scam so i tried to back and login with [censored] information and it didnt work it just told me (wrong pass/user) and i was really nervous cause i thought it was a scam but in 2 days i got my account back and everything and an email from blizzard that the account had been verified man was so worried lol
but turned out that it was some other blizzard verification site or something, its the real site though i mean the verification site thank god i didnt get scammed
