In regards to this link, the seller was allowed to have their opinion expressed on my feedback profile, while my original feedback on their profile was modified to say "Resolved..." by the moderator.
Comparing my original 1-star feedback (modified to 3-star by the moderator) to the seller's 3-star feedback, I commented on my side of the experience showing photo evidence of the seller that contradicts the seller's slander of my character.
The seller didn't show any evidence to prove their claims and the moderator could only go by what their opinion of me was from their words alone.
The seller deleted the chat conversation of our interaction on their website but I was able to submit a brief conversation of our exchange from my registered email exchange to EpicNpc as evidence.
By looking at the seller's previous 4-5 star feedback given by prior buyers, it is clearly evident that I'm not the only one who called out the seller for being abusive and rude.
The only reason why I believe I was singled out by both the moderator and the seller is because I gave a detailed description of my side of the chat conversation, while other critics of the seller gave a brief explanation of their negative feedback towards the seller while giving them a 4/5 star feedback.
As you know by now, having positive feedback, as a seller, gives you some influence over how a buyer decides to deal with you. I understand how problematic it would be to have negative feedback myself and I have an account on eBay with over 200 positive feedback to boot.
But knowing when to sit back and think whether positive feedback allows you to take advantage over others is a different story altogether.
I have come to the conclusion that the seller's side of the story would most likely stay while mine does not because EpicNpc gets a cut from each sale or from each sale involving a middleman. This is my opinion because that's how e-b-a-y and P-a-y-P-a-l both work.
I don't expect EpicNpc to do anything about the seller's feedback to me because I believe that when it comes down to it, money will rule the narrative, and corruption wins.
Out of fairness, all I ask is that my original feedback description to be restored to remain consistent with how the moderator leaves other feedback from other buyers uncontested while leaving the 3-star feedback modified by the moderator.
In this way, any forthcoming individual, whether buyer/seller, can make their own judgment on whether to believe the buyer's feedback or the seller's feedback. Because as it stands, the moderator is painting a picture where the seller's claims are the absolute truth while the buyer has no way to defend the slander of their character by having modified feedback set by the moderator to show nothing from their experience with the seller.
I used to think that this website was fair, and I did even when they changed my original feedback just "resolved..." and to 3-stars (which I accepted) but allowing them to leave the seller freely to slander my character while being unmodified leaves me with the impression that the seller can get away with slandering people while remaining to be uncriticisable.
I would like to see other people's opinions on their exchanges with their buyers/sellers. Do you believe that there's corruption too? I used to think that this website was neutral and not exploitative like other websites because, in my past experience with gacha accounts on other rival websites, I've been scammed by sellers and the middlemen of those websites that have held onto my money and refused to give me a refund until several weeks of me begging. Yes, I begged for my money back. That's what happens when you deal with corruption.
