Accountol.com: Scammers

I bought a WoW account from accountol. The sum was for $139.00. It was a level 80 with WotLK.

The account I bought was nothing like the one they delivered to me. This account was also botted on, and it was very apparent. It was a "premade" account leveled "by them". Obviously I want my account, and an account that wasn't leveled illegally.

They are not refunding my money, even after several attempts to get them to do so.

I have visual evidence.

What do you guys think? Will I be able to get my money back via paypal?

How did you send the payment? If it's not as a gift then you should be able to get it back fairly easy by filing a dispute. Just remember, you can only file a dispute within 45 days of payment sent.

It was a normal payment. I am still worried that I will not be able to get my money back. These guys seem to know what they are doing in terms of scamming.

The only thing you can do really is file a dispute. For more information regarding PayPal I would contact the user Brtev (here's his/her profile page View Profile: brtev - Trade WoW Accounts - WoW Account Trading). He/she seems to know a lot about PayPal and I believe has a website with a really good FAQ about it too.

For future reference though I would just google "(website name) Scam" just to see what you get. Here's a few regarding Accountol.com unfortunately.

On a side note, if they seen that you filed a PayPal dispute and ask you to cancel it and they'll fix the problem once you do, DON'T do it. Once you close a dispute on a payment, you can't file another one or re open it. (I'm 99% sure anyway)

Yeah they are ridiculous. Back when I just started WoW i bought a specific pally for 250 (now I know that this quality of pally is like 50$ lol) but not only did they give me the complete wrong pally, after 7 days of use it was hacked back by 'the original owner' (bs) and they blocked me on all communications.

Ash, it seems that you and I had a very similar experience. I can't believe people would do things like this. I didn't want all this trouble, waiting weeks for my money back.

No sense in getting down about it though. It is a large chunk my fault. I didn't look at the site closely enough. Their phone they have on the site isn't even real.

Some sites when you google them are not actually bad but they have bad reputation when you google them online.

AccountOL on the other hand is a website that you have to stay away from at all costs. They are arguably the worst account selling website out there without a doubt in my opinion and that is pretty sad when you compare them to the other horrific accounts dealer thsale.com aka accountsbay.com.
