2 new members scammed by an impersonator and both left negative feedback

@RealLLW and @pppjjjjjj both left negative feedbacks after they dealt offsite with a scammer impersonating me. As I understand from the comments made on the feedback, they were led on to believe that the person impersonating me is a middleman that works here. I have mentioned clearly on my profile that there is an impersonator at large ( I received multiple reports of this happening over the last two weeks which I had alerted the @EpicNPC CM about ). I also have it clearly mentioned what services I provide and to confirm identity onsite before dealing.

Both these members unfortunately did not bother to do this ( probably being new to this ) and ended up getting scammed. As bad as I feel for their losses, I would like the negative feedbacks removed asap and my end cleared up.

I will provide some evidence I have of multiple new members being targeted by a scammer impersonating me both as a middleman and as a seller.

@EUNhara was scammed via discord. He contacted me onsite after he lost the account and did not receive payment.

@HamAraAym was contacted by the same person and he did not fall for it. He opted to pm me onsite to confirm identity and hence did not get scammed.

In most of the cases, this was the discord id that contacted them to scam. I tracked this down to a banned member of this site @Darasenju
Since discord name can be changed but the numbers after the hashtag cannot ( as far as I understand this part of the tag cannot be changed )
this seems to be the person scamming these people. Another important feature is that they are specifically targeting new members of the site who are not experienced when it comes to selling or buying online. This leads me to believe that the scammer actually is still operating onsite under a different ip and username or with the help of an existing member. This would make sense because there is no coincidence that it is only new accounts that are being targeted and they are directly adding people who are new onsite via discord.

They also regularly change the display picture on the discord to match the one I am using. I have changed my display pictures every 2 days over the last two weeks and checked to see the status of the dp of this account by sending an add request on discord and it always is the same one that I will be having at the time. They are also impersonating multiple other mods on epic because many of them seem to have had to update their profile to include their discord and asking users to confirm onsite because they have someone impersonating them.

My discord has always been mmoe#2833 and my sales have all been conducted onsite. The only deals made have been dota accounts, dota items and instagram accounts. The scammer however seems to be operating in accounts and services forums that I do not moderate in. This makes it less likely for me to know what's happening unless I am contacted by members directly as it happened with the 3 cases highlighted above.

1. I was not contacted onsite by either of these members before the alleged deal took place.
2. They did not confirm that it was me they were working with.
3. I have not sold, bought or traded with either of these two members.
4. They have submitted false feedback for a deal that I was never a part of because of their own carelessness.
5. Kindly remove the fake feedbacks asap as it will affect my business.

I literally contacted @EpicNPC CM to highlight this issue less than 4 days ago. I knew that eventually someone was gonna get scammed again and I would end up getting negative feedback for their mistake.

Yeah my advise to everyone is, make sure to text the person he/she is claiming to be on the site itself to avoid any scams
Don't accuse the person for being scammed by a random impersonator who doesn't want to message me epicnpc

How is a transaction being considered good by this guy if he's also claiming that a scam happened? Also on the feedbacks submitted, it is evident that @pppjjjjjj was the seller and @RealLLW was the buyer. Now if as they say a so called transaction took place which is clearly offsite because Tradeguardian doesn't seem to have been used for this, how is it that this guy bought something and is happy with the transaction but is simultaneously blaming the middleman who scammed them. I would like to raise the possibility of @RealLLW being involved in this scam as if this sale has gone through, he could very well have possession of the account and the middleman posing as me was working with him. This way they have a scapegoat to blame since the transaction was done offsite and there's an easy way out for him. On top of this, he can further pretend that he's a good guy by playing along with the idea that I was the middleman who scammed and adding a feedback from his end as well. This way, he basically makes the buyer trust that he is not to blame and he does not become a suspect here. I want to ask the admin to investigate this as well since they've taken it this far. I want to know how payment was made and how and where this deal took place. If @RealLLW does not answer these questions, it becomes pretty evident that he was working hand in hand with the scammer.

You'd be super surprised at what I just found. @EUNhara was scammed as you saw in the screenshots I shared earlier. He later pmed me and realised that he was scammed via discord. What was confusing at the time was how exactly did someone know he was selling his account and how did that person know @EUNhara discord id to add him and scam him there while impersonating me? The only logical way this could happen was if the scammer still has an active account at epicnpc or someone working with him who has an active account at epicnpc.

Yes. The only reply was by none other than @RealLLW
Even the date is the same. 9 June was the day @EUNhara contacted me to say he got scammed! If you check the thread, you will see that @EUNhara had his discord mentioned and this was an easy way for the person viewing the thread to see that he is new here and add him via discord to scam him.

I am not a middleman. I do not have authorization to middleman for deals on this site. I have clearly mentioned what services I provide on my profile description. I have also indicated that I never add anyone first on discord. They have left 2 negative feedbacks for an alleged middleman deal offsite. This alone is enough to remove my negative feedbacks. However, I really want you to look into this @RealLLW guy and see if he checks out. Also please fix this asap as my business suffers with stupid stuff like this from people who don't bother to read site rules before coming here to make money.

Here is yet another message I received from a member recently.

@Rayyan H was scammed by the same person on discord. He contacted me after the deal and realized that he had been dealing with an impostor. In the screenshots I am attaching, he clearly confirms what I already mentioned regarding the previous discord tag being JustinDave#3390. He was scammed for a Brawlhalla account. @RealLLW has been quite active with deals on the Brawlhalla forums as well.

Since @RealLLW chose to come on this thread and engage in the conversation but did not answer any of the questions I raised potentially linking him to the scammer at large impersonating me and also not providing proof of his allegation, I have updated 1 warning point with a TWC tag until he comes clean on this. I am ready to put my reputation and position as a moderator on this site on the line. If admins feel that this move was unwarranted and is taking it too far, then I would respectfully state that since my business is suffering due to this issue caused by this shady member who seems extremely happy btw even after he alleges he's been scammed, I see no reason why he should continue to operate his business as usual until he provides evidence for his claims.

I have put forth numerous pieces of evidence which not only shows that I had no part to play in this so called middleman deal they had but also potentially links @RealLLW with the scammer impersonating me. He has not offered anything in his defence and has done nothing but make snide comments in reply without actually answering any of the questions which I'm sure are too difficult for him to comprehend let alone answer. If you find him innocent, you will remove his TWC tag anyway and if not I am willing to lose my position as mod if I am found guilty of being involved in this deal.
