Well, I've decided to call it quits and move onto another game. I took a break from the game once WOTLK came out and decided not to continue with WOW.

This auction is for a NE Rogue Dual Warglaives Tier 6.5+ / Full Season4 (including shoulders). There is also a lvl 70 female human Priest.

There is so much on this account that I can't even go through it all. Tier3 Naxx gear from pre-BC (can't get this anymore) and other unique un-attainable items. The Rogue has over 300 days player alone so you can probably guess how much stuff he has.

While I know this character was worth $2,000 before WOTLK, obviously it is not worth that much anymore. However, I am not going to sell him for crap, I would rather give the character to one of my closest friends.

I am asking $700USD for the character. As a Christmas bonus, I will put 4 months of gamecards on the account, so the account will be paid until April for you.

I am the original owner of the account and an honest seller. I would like to speak with you over the telephone to alleviate both of our concerns.

I will NOT accept PayPal under any circumstances due to the ease of reversing payment. If you think that is crap, you are most likely a scammer. This is for both your and my safety.

Before any payment is made, I will have the buyer log onto WOW and I will then tell you what server to come on and show you the character and any items you wish to see on him to verify I possess the account.

Character has name change and transfer available. Character has no flags or suspensions on the account.

NOTE: The account has already been upgraded to WOTLK. Therefore, you do NOT need to buy a copy of WOTLK if you have not already and can save $50USD!

Warglaives are what, 109 DPS? 1h Blues at 78 are 111-115 dps.

They are good for looks and bragging rights, but come on now.

 

Hello HSViper, thank you for your comments and time you took to post.

I would respectfully ask all parties who are not interested in purchasing the account at the price listed ($700) to refrain from posting about what they think it is worth. There are other forums that these issues can be discussed.

Jeron, please check your PM, I responded to you several hours ago.

 

My "main" point here is that Thunderfury/Glaives and any prebc/bc content are worth a lot more than most of you think. Explore every account bought and sold that has had similar gear/items/titles and anything you can possibly think of that is NOT obtainable anymore "which" makes the account a collectors item regardless of stats.

Talk to those who collect these accounts and they will tell you exactly what I am. Ppl work their rears off to get everything they do on these account and their time and effort is worth more than a cheap bid.

This is business and nothing personal as well.

In no way will they be replaced by level 75 greens.. But your first trip into Naxx they are replaced. I know this because I have a few friends that have/had both Glaives and have been replaced with a LOT higher DPS weapons...

I'm sure you can look it as a status thing, but the Glaive is no Thunderfury.. There was over 25 Glaives on my home server alone. The Thunderfury on the other hand had a VERY select amount of people that had them. Now that is a weapon I would spend the extra money on.

And as far as the not being able to afford it.. I laugh at you for that one LOL...

You ppl that think a Glaive accounts have not held value post Lich have to be freakin crazy and most likely cannot afford the account anyway. Trolling this sellers thread based on your simple calculation of what our economy has gone to is bs and you all that have opinions on this subject need to post your thoughts in a different forum and leave these sellers of these account alone.

Glaives have value as well as old content. Maybe not what they used to be but they are worth at his current lvl about what he is asking. Lvl 80 with Epics and blues a little more depending on what the account offers.

What the seller should be more concerned with is ppl bothering him and trying to convince him that accounts like this have no value as they did.

So in closing, I recommend this seller make another thread and block anyone trying to convince him that Glaives are worth what a lvl 75 Lich greenie account is worth.

 

$700-$800 was what they were worth before Wrath hit, secretninja is right.

The rogue was NEVER at any point worth $2000. Warglaive accounts will not fetch more than $800 pre-WotLK. $700 now is really stretching it, although I wish you good luck.
