Hello there,

I would like to transfer my friends 70 Druid to my own wow account (under different names obviously) and I'm wondering what are the chances of blizzard catching this...I know it say's in paid char transfer page that it's against the eula but I've also seen here on Markee, guys trading characters but upon trading the toon must be transfered to a different account...

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Have any of you had any experience doing this and did you get caught? If so did you get banned? (i'd hate to lose all my hard work)

thanks guys I appreciate any feedback on this matter, happy trading!

Moved to the 'Safe buying selling and trading' section.

As for your question the last names on both accounts needs to be the same for the transfer to work.

Yes. The only way to do this is to use the same last name (first name can be different) on the account you wish to transfer the character to.

You won't be banned simply because of this; Blizzard understands that people like to have multiple accounts, or family that wish to play. You'd only be banned if you flag the account for doing something wrong (ie: botting, etc.).
