Basically he made me a sig and it was complete and utter trash, literally looked like he had picked a random render, taken a NORMAL logo from what I wanted, typed the rest on, and put a black background. (owait he did do this)

He's sent me like 3 essays about how I'm a bad person... He spent like 1 minute on this sig if even and expected I pay him... The guy who did my current sig did it free and It's AMAZING

Perhaps you should have asked him kindly to make you another one and give him very vey very very specific instructions on what you wanted

Generally I don't care what you guys say about each other. Its a great source of humor. However, as tomato has done a few different things for me always to good result, I feel compelled to say so here.

The first time I talked with Tomato, I wore him totally out for a good 30 minutes before I even accepted that he do a job for me. He was patience, understanding, and took some **** w/out ever getting irritated. I would have told me to beat my feet. He however, did not. Took the job, revised it many, many, many times, and never complained at all.

Since then he has done sigs for guys that work for me, headers for other sites I have, and just some random work. It's always been quality work, sometimes he's a little slow, but I think thats because he has a real job. In short, he does quality work in a professional manner and lets you know up front if its going to take him awhile and lives up to those time frames.

Anyways, thats my 2c.

Don't know which tomato you met. Basically the sig he linked me had a default standard logo, a solid black background, and a picture (nothing near the render that I asked him to do) and literally look like it took him 5 seconds even though it took him multiple days to get it to me. My current one was done for free and looks ages better than that one. So mabye you had one good experience with him, but I don't know how long ago because what he did was something I could have done in paint and I don't do this kind of thing.
