Worried about being scammed

Recently I sold an account to someone on the forums. I'm not going to say who because I'm not 100% sure they are scamming me.

Basically I got this email. I talked to them on AIM (It was late at night already when I got this email) and they said it was paypal, and not them, who had put a hold on the funds and that they would call paypal, or respond to the dispute saying that they had received the account.

This is the email I received. Now I am the acount owner, and I can still recall the account most likely (although he does know the SA). I'm not really sure if they are at fault here or whether it's paypal being stupid, or they're pulling a fast one on me.

Anyone here with experience using paypal know the truth?

That e-mail is intending that whoever sent you the funds has opened a claim and labeled it as an 'Unauthorized Transaction'. This is what the majority of scammers use as an excuse to get the money they sent you back.

I don't want to tick you off, however; in most cases, he will win due to it being an intangible item.

In the event that I'm correct, please post a Scammer Accusation in the Scammers forum using the Template found stickied there so that the necessary actions can be taken.

Yeah, I just checked the character his items are all gone.

I'm gonna say its a scam. Calling Blizzard now to get the account back.

Would you please post a scam report with all the necessary information so this user can be banned?

I'm going to have to wait. I had a post written up-posted. But the accounts being as slow, and as error prone as they are, it got eaten up.
