Hello community! Be careful when addressing someone under the name of abdullah on skype
This guy attempted to scam me pretty hard.
He offered to pay in full for my EU account that I'm selling.
He asked for my PayPal email to send the funds
Then he proceeded with how he was unable to get it to work and it was somehow an issue with my account and on my end of why it was not going through.
He said he needed me to verify the payment via a paypal automated phone call where i would have to type in a 4 digit code to verify the payment.
I did not answer the call the first time
but the second time I did because it made somewhat sense...
Immediately once I typed in this 4 digit code that was meaningless .. I lost complete control of my PayPal account and the email was never again linked to my PayPal account.
This is terrible for people who have cards/banks linked and I had to contact PayPal immediately to reverse all of this and get back hold of my account.
set up security measures etc.
BE CAREFUL!!
