I am looking for a used working laptop.
I use my home laptop at work and it takes a beating and died. I am in process of fixing it.
Part of the problem is windows ten. Microsoft forces updates on you. Well it crashed during update. Took hours but it came back on.
Then it tried to update again. Failed but again got it working. Then mid using it a couple days later it locked up and wont turn back on.
But it has become obvious I cannot use it for both.
I am not looking for anything almost brand new and high end. It just needs to be working, and working well for a used laptop.
What I am looking for:
-Minimum 4 gigs of ram.
-Must contain a hard drive. If you do not know how to wipe it I will for you. I want a laptop not your information.LOL
Size of hard drive is not important but 160 gigs is minimum for an older laptop.
-Battery must hold a charge.
-Include charger that works. US Style Charger
- Screen- Must be fully working (a few dead pixels IDC but I have to be able to use it.)
Flexible on size, just not a netbook ie (10.1 inch screen) I have those.
Hinges have to be good.
-Graphics- Not so important. I prefer an amd graphics over intel hd from experience but not important.
-Operating System I prefer windows 7 but 8 and 10 work
-Processor- Not a mobile processor in a laptop.
Like I said I need one that turns on and works. Minor repairs/upgrades/updates are not an issue, but if I have to do a lot of work to get it going there's no point.
Please have model number ready- if you know specs that helps too, but I understand this is not everyones forte.
Pluses:
Dedicated graphics card. Gives me flexibility with laptop.
Larger screen size.
Looking for US Sellers (Canada is possibility)
