Why was "qwode" banned?

I ask out of curiosity as I purchased an account from on the 31st and still haven't received it (we agreed to wait until Paypal transferred the funds into his bank account). Perhaps stupid on my part but we did swap all our real life contact details and he lives near me.

I honestly did think he was a legitimate seller. Can anybody tell me who he scammed or attempted to scam?

Note to all it may concern: I have decided to arrange a chargeback due to the fact that he hasn't provided details to the account I bought after ten days, has stopped using AIM, and is apparently banned from this community.

Qwode had an IP that matched up with previously banned member Beast666. He was reported by a user from the forums for suspicion of being Beast666 and I was able to confirm it.

also, you can view the Ban list in the "Quick Links" navigation link. That will tell you the reason why anyone was banned.
