why trading is not secure

well i have recently been screwed over by someone and instead of getting mad i figured out how he did it and how can i get my account back.

first of all. you can change all the possible info on your profile but the name and secret question. so if you traded someone and you got a ton of gear on their character, they could easily take the cd key that was used to create the account and if they know the secret question they can get the account back. or maybe they just decided they didnt liek your character.

unless you know this person irl and have taken the cd book from them and they have not written down the key then thats the only way to make sure they cant take back the account.

im not trying to discourage trading, just know that you can put in a bunch of work and end up getting screwed.

but although i am not telling you not to trade accounts. im tellign you that its more probable to get scammed than to have a smooth trade. not good odds. as we all knwo there are tons of scammers on this board.

Thanks for posting something that almost everyone knows in the WRONG FORUM. very helpful at adding to spam on these boards.
