How can i get TWV without using paypal ?

Paypal has already robbed me for 2k i refuse to let them have access to anything of mine ever again. But i want to sell my WoW Gold. I currently Use Google Check-out and Moneybookers .

Paypal is the most unsafe payment method out there. They Scammed So many people. I am not talking about a customer scamming you i am talking about paypal themselves.

I was selling stuff on ebay from my store and once i got 2k on my Paypal They Limited Access to my account for 180 days to make Interest off of my money.

They Claimed. Suspiciouse Acitivity. But they have no Comment on that. I called them and emailed them they refuse to give me a answer about it.

I had Positive Feedback on ebay no negatives. I also Had 0 Disputes on my Paypal.

They have no Reason. Hense why they wont answer my questions.

they dont know how much rep on ur ebay,i guess you need to further talk with operator of paypal

Oh you mean those useless idiots that give you the runaround any time you ever call. They may as well have you talk to a machine, all I've experienced from the "support" at PayPal is rude agents who can do nothing but read answers off of a computer screen.

I've lost thousands to PayPal as well. I was scammed by a chargeback (the guy filed a claim on an $800 transaction, lost then went to his bank and claimed it wasn't him who sent the money and it was automatically withdrawn from my account) at this point I didn't have $800 in Paypal so there was about a $450 deficit - so they begin to make attempts at taking the money directly from my bank account, twice an hour, costing me $35 in overdraft fees from my bank each time they did without ever letting me know, it was my bank that eventually called after they had racked up about $500 in overdraft fees. After all was said and done I paid out $1500, was harassed by a collection agency and had my PayPal account limited.

Granted I was a lot less experienced with dealing with them at that point and I wouldn't allow myself to be pushed around by them to that extent anymore, it was a hard lesson to learn though.

PayPal is no longer allowed to just reach in your bank account and take money owed unless you give permission for automatic payments on eBay.

PayPal is a corrupt system that is just waiting to be surpassed by a better, more reliable, and more experienced, user-friendly work force when someone is capable of bringing in the capital to create such a company. The problem right now is that PayPal has become a second-hand payment on any online site (for the most part) and is so well-known that it basically monopolizes the type of service it provides.

Everytime I called them, they gave me a bunch of ****. I was scammed once (paid through "gift" option) and they said that all they could do was give me a registered phone number on the account (which turned out to be 999-999-999 - seriously...) and the e-mail of the person (same as the paypal account). I had to do my own digging to find the person and get my money back. I then called back and sent them all the proof that was needed to show that the user was underaged and scamming. The man on the phone told me that he would look into it and that there may be a chance that they limit his account... Of course, every one of this kids transactions helps pay for their salaries so why not let him keep the open account?

If they really want to be a legitimate business, they should at least have a more proper registration process that requires landline confirmation, etc.

Take a look at some of the stories here PayPal Sucks Forums.

I once almost got scammed by Paypal. I was refunded for an account and Paypal wouldn't allow the refund. The seller had to call in and confirm the refund. Even after that, I had to call and one of their representatives said that there wasn't going to be a refund until I nagged her to death about the seller even calling in and noting that he wanted to issue a refund.

Paypal also closed my account since I'm underaged. Sigh

This is why I avoid using paypal, altogether.

It is the fact that eBay owns PayPal which makes it all the more successful in terms of keeping market share. Western Union is by far the most secure form of payment that I've encountered - yet the fact that you need to walk over to the bank makes it unappealing since you must present ID, drive, etc. In all honesty, PayPal is just easier, but no safer than giving a three year old a lighter and a bucket of gasoline...

Western Union has a new service where your funds is delivered to your mailing address by debit card for the same fees. I'm sure there are other restrictions too.

how much is it to use western union anyways?

About 8-10% of the total you're sending.

May I have an opinion:
I think that PP and WU are expensive method. WU is secure but fee is so high + can refund. PP is good but fee is so high 3% + 0.3$ + abroad fee + risk (re call fund)
I give u an method with: most security ( 100% cann't hack, cann't be stolen) + cheapest fee: only 0.8%, including PM tool + many kind of currency you can add to purse. It's Webmoney.

Paypal is not the only payment option; its just the most widely used since they've made it so easy and ppl are already familiar with it via stuff like ebay and craigslist.

Google checkout is another good alternative; authorize.net is another solution that actually offers a robust anti-fraud system and support.
