What will happened if (sticky threads)

my sticky thread ends May 14, and i outbid another sticky topic that ends May 10

from May 10 to May 14 i will have 2 duplicated sticky topics?
or will have one sticky topic, but from May 10 to May 14 forum category will just have 3/4 slots of sticky threads filled?

You can have multiple sticky threads in the same forum.

When you outbid someone, their thread continues to run until the ends of it's duration and then gets replaced by yours. If you already have one sticky, you'll now have two and they are independent.

i outbid it by same topic that already is sticky

so its one topic, it will split to two places? and then merge into one again?

I don't know what would happen. You're not supposed to do that.

My guess is that most likely the forum would have 3/4 stickies during that time. It also might cause an issue where when the first one expires, it unsticks the thread and you'll have to wait for an admin to put it back.

Sticky threads are reviewed daily for conflicts like this. We try try to combine purchases when there's overlaps or other issues. If you let me know what section it's in, I can review it now to see if I can update the threads ahead of time.
