What games are too difficult to set up a proper bot to farm in, and thus aren't completely overrun by bots that ruin the marketplace?

I like being able to sell off my gold and/or accounts to pay my rent, makes my gaming addiction more than just an addiction. However, everywhere I turn I seem to be competing with a buttload of bots so I can put thousands of hours into a game to end up with $3 worth of gold because there's thousands of macro accounts lowering the price of everything.

There is botting like there is in every game, but it's far from overrun.

I've noticed that DOTA 2 market is barely vulnerable to botting these days. The game process can be hardly affected by any types of bots due to complex game mechanisms and winner-takes-all mode. Over last years there was no benefit from running bots but to level newly created accounts making them eligible to ranked matchmaking. However, you couldn't gain high rank completing all test games with bots, plus, regular patches made any botting soft obsolete.
Moreover, Valve noticeably stuggled against botting last year. In February they nullified rating and rank of the accounts that had first 100 games done by bots (even if next 300 games were played manually). Thereafter they released a few waves of ban for newly created and botted accounts. At this point all legit account sellers prefer to prepare fresh accounts for matchmaking manually, without using any abuse.

@Nekromantia they have the bot situation mostly figured out. There is still some but its nothing like past.
