Hi,
I am not familiar with the game you are asking for but in general point of view - If you are selling/buying an item I would recommend linking your account into the dummy email and then delivering it to the buyer with every detail needed (PW, ID, Email, etc.)
If you are not planning to give your personal email to the buyer/seller, I wouldn't recommend the second option you are mentioning (it is unsafe for both of parties - for you it won't be a good move if you store on that email your personal information and from buyer's point of view, it's unsafe because he is not fully in possession of an item he purchased.
