Nature of Fraud/Scam: The guy tried to scam me by saying he had an archeage alpha "key" with archeage alpha, there are no keys only email invites. At fist I did not know this. After I was told this I asked him were he got the key from and he said from reddit, no one on reddit is or was selling keys. When I first started talking to the guy we agreed on cash through paypal, he then wanted me to buy WoW stuff, I asked for his paypal and he tried to trick me by giving me paypal account to some game site and saying it was his. I ended up contacting him on two different skypes.

He did not post on my thread, he just messaged me and in the end I was not scammed because it was just too many red flags, just throwing this out there so other people can beware

I couldnt find anything that said there were no alpha keys, so I'm not sure if that was a lie or not, however the fact he couldnt show you any proof he actually had a key is a big enough red flag to walk away from the sale.

Check the official forums, there's no actual key like "xxx-000-xxx" or anything like that and one of the forum mods on here that I spoke with, is selling Archeage alpha invites. He said there is just an email invite, no key with digits/letters to be written down.

I talked to trion customer service and several alpha people, they gave out emails, not key codes.
