Updated Replies

We have made a significant change to thread replies today in an effort to enhance the user's experience on both desktop and mobile. The following changes have been made.

• Thread replies have been condensed so we can display more of them on screen at one time.
• Signature have been removed. Only the first post will display signatures.
• "Reply" box has been moved to the top (under the first post) instead of the bottom of the page.
• Newest replies appear at the top, older replies at the bottom.
• Nested replies feature added. You can reply to a commend up to 1 level.
• OP (original poster) indicator has been added so you can easily see which replies are from the thread creator.

We are working on adding an infinite scroll to the replies in the near future, so you will see that added sometime next week.

Each time i refresh some of my pages, comments are shuffled.
Also some of removed comments are showing again under thread replies.

We're still making some adjustments, so that might be what you're seeing.

That thread has a lot of deleted comments, but they do not appear when I'm logged into your account and view the thread. There's a bunch of comments that says "Removed" but those were not deleted, they're edited.

Can you take a screenshot of it if it's something else?

That will only work for the first post now and not for the replies. We'll consider adding that for replies in the near future.

Sounds good, but the wording in the shop should be updated to reflect the purchase.

Has confirmed feedback been completely removed or is that going to be added back in some way for comments?

On the Active Threads sidebar, unread/read comments are not working. Still shows unread even though it's been read.

There should be no changed to confirmed feedback. It should work the same as before.

It appears that the green banner indicating Confirmed Feedback is no longer present above any comments. There is currently no way to determine whether a comment is feedback or not since it is not linked to anything. If this is not intended as you say, it must be a bug.

Additionally, comments and feedback posted after April 1st, 2023 on my thread are not showing up. Anything before july 19, 2019 are gone, thread was posted in Jul 15, 2018. Not sure if mass feedback and comments on threads not showing up or being removed from threads is affecting anyone else.

Lastely, when making an "edit" to comments, once I click "save" the comment disappears off the screen, and goes blank. I have to refresh the page to then see the comment again.

when you click "Jump to new" button it does nothing.

Once infinite scroll is added, the "jump to new" button will be removed as it's not need anymore. It only appears if you're not on page 1 and with infinite scroll, you'll always be on page 1.

What notification? I checked the notifications in the alert tab (bell icon) and they redirect to page 1.

Nested posts don't have that checkbox to select them for moderation.

Also, you say that nested comments go 1 level deep, but I've seen a thread with 2 levels (Thread reply -> Nested comment to reply -> Nested comment to comment).

I can't replicate. I see the checkboxes for Admins, Global mods and local mods. The checkbox only appears for the top level reply, not the nested replies.

Also, you say that nested comments go 1 level deep, but I've seen a thread with 2 levels (Thread reply -> Nested comment to reply -> Nested comment to comment).

That was done for posts that had multiple nested quotes times. A quote of a quote of a quote. However going forward we only allow 1 level.

There's really no need to go deeper than that since we're a marketplace. If the buyer and seller want to continue discussing it will remain in that nested group.

We're aware of this issue and were discussing a solution last week.

Due to how replies now dispaly and the infinite scroll, we will display the first post of the thread + the post in the link and any nested replies to it. It should be updated in the next 1-2 days.
