Ok so I just sold my warlock to aim: STRUGGLEMM

after I recieved payment I gave him all info for the account (excluding SA because I do not know it, I even offered to let him transfer it off the account).

Immediately after selling it I got a message from paypal saying that the payment has had a claim put on it (big freaking surprise) the claim says Unauthorized transaction.

Now paypal is telling me that I have to send it to the verified address on his paypal in order to be eligible for seller protection policy.

so my question is this:
If I send him a piece of paper that includes all account details etc and then give paypal the tracking number will that suffice? I would be willing to go out and do that if it means me winning this dispute.

Should have used FEDEX and a signature comfirmation :P

I used USPS priority mail with tracking number. is that not sufficient?

He will refuse to sign most likely and you will lose.

I didnt make it signature only, I just made it so once it arrives it shows up as arrived on the tracking # so that paypal sees that and wins the case in my favor.

He just IMed me like 45 times.

Ok guys a little update since its been a while paypal finally closed the dispute...and I won!

yep, I sent a peice of paper to the registered adress and paypal favored in my liking.

good job - you probably won because he was stupid and tried to reverse it so quickly after buying
for items worth more than $250 paypal usually requires a signature confirmation

It was two payments of $150

Well, I just sold my account last night, and the buyer has put in a dispute claim. Should I just send him a piece of paper with all the account info? Therefore adding the tracking number to give to paypal?

Banned - Scammer
I thought I won too, all my disputes were closed. I bought something couple weeks with funds still in my paypal, stating the funds are available for use, and then couple days later, I am facing a negative balance in my paypal of -300. $#!#$!L!#@?

Ir it could mean it's from a stolen paypal account.

Im not going to lose an account + $300 profit because someone couldn't keep their own paypal safe from phishers or keyloggers.

What I do usually is send the password + email and all information to the paypal email address. I never hand it over via aim or anything. Also, it would help if u get them to send you an "agreement" that they are buying whatever you are selling via the paypal email - more evidence for you.
